I love how you showed their relationship, how Arthur never stopped thinking of Morgana, missing her, wondering what was happening to her and what had happened to her, and how Morgana's love for Arthur turned to hate, she didn't have anything else left in her but hate and Arthur meant to much to her for her to feel apathy. Please, please keep vidding these two! They belonged together! (silently curses BBC) Gorgeously done!

This saddens me... Morgan was a beautiful person until Merlin did what he did by trying to poison her. Merlin and that old guy were freaking hypocrites doing magick. Instead of training her so she could learn how control her powers they turned on her and of course tried to kill her. They got exactly what they deserved, I was so disappointed in Merlin for listening to that stupid dragon and his old friend. Things would have been different if they took the right path, but they chose the path of lies, ruin, deceit, and destruction. They only did that to save their own asses so they wouldn't get caught using magick. So sad
Yes it is sad, but it had to happen that way so that everything that was fated would happen. The whole point in the show was that there was no escaping destiny. It was Morgana's destiny to become what she was and Merlin's to make her that way. In that way they were bound along with Arthur.

+Montez Mays They didn't design their destinies. God or Magic (or whatever) did. They were all victims of their own fates. They had to make the choices that they made so that they would end up where they were meant to because it was their destiny. Just like Mordred, they told Merlin to let him die and if he had then Arthur would have lived. Everything that happened was so that Arthur could become king, Morgana would become his enemy and turn Mordred against him, and in the end he dies and ends up in Avalon so that when he is needed he will rise again. You cannot escape your destiny. The show made that perfectly clear time and time again.
The whole point of the show was to show them before they where famous and to gradually change them into what we know from the actual legend .No matter what happened in the series morgana would have turned out evil, merlin would protect Arthur using his magic and realise he was emrys and Arthur to die and become the once and future king.

Morgana is that one character I would never forget (along with Merlin, of course). She was so kind and beautiful, but fear turned her into a bitter, hating soul. She stands as a symbol of Merlin's greatest mistake. God, I would kill for a canon story of her being redeemed, because fucking dammit, she didn't deserve to die that way. So tragic, in the hands of the person she once trusted with her biggest secret.
That last scene where they showed her dead, always breaks me. Her face is forever frozen in an expression of regret. I wonder what she was thinking about? Did she regret everything, in the end? What were her lost thoughts? What could a character like Morgana think about with her last breath? Gaahhh!! My heart T.T
