YOU 👏 CAN’T 👏 RE-USE 👏 THE 👏 SAME 👏 PEOPLE 👏
Seth Doan As far as I can tell, the girl with the red hair is fine because he doesn’t actually hear hear her natural voice in the British accent video. She only speaks naturally in her personal interview at the end, so all he knows is that she’s not British. The other girl definitely should not have been in this video because he heard her natural voice in the American accents video.
Hi seth, no u
@@sonastysorude he could still watch the video on youtube and see her interview
mswackygirl369 they most likely filmed all the videos at once before putting any of them out
Lazy producer is lazy
The chick with the red hair was very obviously not from New York.
Spoiler alert
And not even from the fact that we have seen her in past videos we knew from hearing her intro that she’s faking it lol
@@twincherry4958 are u srs bro at the beginning of the vid they say who it is lol
Within the first minute, I knew. What New Yorker says "Yes" in a clipped and concise way?
I think the MOST obvious was the word "lawyer". Sounded straight from Britain or Australia. I was like, there is NO WAY he missed that. But the rest of her words had Britain/Australian undertones as well, just not AS strong.
I knew she was from New York because when listing the 5 boroughs she said Staten Island first. Only a Staten islander would do that
@@extrashotofespresso_ A lot of people don't even think of Staten Island.
This is true! Lmao!!! I say Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx and Staten Island.
I'm Irish, have never been to the US, and started with Staten Island. The Wu is indeed powerful
Why
Mtvgurl123 true. Staten Island is the forgotten borough of NY.
as a new yorker from the actual city, zeus represented nyc more than rachel did lmaoo
Also as someone who grew up in the south but my dad is from New York he still has slight New York accent. I know I do and I have never lived in ny but have been around my dad.
Zeus said Kofi instead of cawfee. He looked awkward after that like he caught himself mispronouncing
Exactly and I’m from New York as well!
Maya Anjali I WON ! ....S/O Everyone from New York !
Nah bro he sounds like he's from LA
If Zeus isn’t legit he should be a voice actor.
JxC I am actually . Watch me on the ID channel on Homicide city philly & Charlotte !
@@TopRopeZeus Yeah you did an amazing job. I guessed that Rachel was from New York in another video, but if it was both of you talking to me on the street I would not have anywhere near the ability to call you out.
@@TopRopeZeus I was about to say, you are seriously good at that accent. Nice work
@@TopRopeZeus you did a great job!! FC Barça representing too lol
@@TopRopeZeus awesome!
THAT GIRL WITH RED HAIR HAS BEEN IN EVERY 👏SINGLE👏ACCENT👏VIDEO
Sarah Moriarty she’s also an actress so it’s appalling how bad all of her accents have been lmfao
The funny thing is I'm from NY and she has the closest accent to mine. 😂 we use schmatas or dish towels though.. Not cloths.
ScreamToASigh eeeek I’m also from NYC and her accent was horrible, it sounded like a mix between Boston and British-listen to her say Central Park
And she’s trash at accents lmaoo
Emily Moser That did not sound British at all
The red hair girl said Central Park in a British accent and I knew straight off the back she was not from New York
TheWorldInMyHead She’s not British tho
She’s not even British lol
Dylan Glo 😂😂hey I didn’t say she was British, I just said she had a British accent 😂😂
i thoought she was maybe from boston
@ƎVOLUTIONATED we say park. nothin crazy. People from boston would say pawk
Why do you keep using the same people in these videos, it makes it obvious who he can eliminate based off of previous videos
Budget cuts
Well he's trying to find the real home accent of people acting. Until he finds a person's real heritage he still doesn't know where they're from. In the last video, the redhead was faking a British accent, so all he could gleam from the results of that were that she wasn't British. I'm pretty sure they did a bunch of these all in one day and are releasing them sporadically.
It’s BuzzFeed
Its not about us guessing. Its about him guessing.
Maybe he's face blind.
I might have a touch of that, I often don't recognize people after not seeing them for a while. Once I ran into a cousin and couldn;t figure out who she was, even though we grew up together, because several years ahd passed. I knew she seemed familiar, but I wasn't sure from where and she seemed to know an awful lot about my family.
Zoom out and let’s see who has the timbs on
Michael Dueñas YURRRRRR
ChAnEl Crystal so tru!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Lmao
Yuuurrrrr!! 😂
Oh that's why the tourists would stare me down every time I walked down a street in manhattan lmao. Im not from new york but I felt like they were thinking "oh look at this stereotypical new yorker" big beige jacket, light blue jeans, timbs and a pair of big ass sunglasses lmao
the redhaired girl has already met him lol why is he faking not knowing shes not from new york
he never actually found out where she was from in the other video, he only knows she isnt british
HD Scorpio But she didn't have a new york accent then lmfao
Not everyone from NY sounds like they're from Brooklyn or Long Island
MelodiousRhyme u not from ny then
I’m from NY and i don’t have an accent maybe it’s because I’m from the bronx
I’m from Long Island and I feel like most of us don’t have that stereotypical accent. It mostly found in white middle aged and older people lol
MelodiousRhyme Long Island isn’t part of New York City
@@benm4216 well it's still in new York
Rachael making faces in the background is such a mood
Okay as someone who grew up in New York and New England in general- Zeus had the speed and the dialect on point. Literally sounds exactly like my dad
It’s like the stereotypical hood accent. I don’t notice how different it sounds when hearing it naturally.
The English girl has been in a video like this before with this judge guy so he already knows that she is fake
Edit: also in the other video she said she was English so stop comin at me :|
Yea man , that's true.
You’re right I just checked
Haven't both of the women been in videos about accents with him before?! I already know who's authentic so I guess buzzfeed saved me time and I don't have to watch this pointless video.
Hi jx, no u
lol, she's even wearing the same shirt!!
The title is contradictory to the purpose of the video and I was confused on who actually had the real accent for like 5 min
im also confused lol
Rachel was already in other videos so I knew she was from new york. Zeus did have a convincing accent, though. Even after the video, he still sounded like he was from around here
I'm from Norfolk and knew he was from Norfolk, VA. Norfolkians have a lot of New York in the accent for some reason. Many flock there to steal fashion ideas and fill up on slang 🤣
THESE VIDEOS HAVE SO MUCH POTENTIAL JUST USE NEW PEOPLE EVERYTIME UGH
Zeus could literally be from NYC
I was foooooled he got it
He fooled this Queens native right here.
Ong bruh I’m from nyc myself and he sounds like a New Yorker from nyc
He just sounds black
@@richlisola1 black from NYC
"I'm from the hood of New York, he doesn't know anything about that". FACTS. lol
😂 *The subway is nasty* not from New Yawk 😂
I am from New York, the damn subways is dirty. Rather take a cab.
This girl with the red hair watches a lil too much jersey shore
Zeus had the speed going, too. I'm not from NY, but I'm a yankee, and he fooled me. I was thinking, "Ah, finally someone is talking at a normal speed."
Me, from nyc: Wait we have a accent???
Yes. it's atrocious
Coufee and hot douge. Yes you do 😂
Yeah
U don’t notice it but it’s strong
most of us don't. I grew up in brooklyn and rarely heard anyone speak with that stereotypical accent

Says Ma like their southern
Says daughter like a fake New Yorker
Says everything else like a long islander
For last time barely anyone in Long Island sounds like that!
@@elise5332 yeah ik I’m actually from Long Island but it’s kinda like what people imagine Long Island to sound like idk
Says “lawyer” like an Australian.
The red head is horrible at hiding her accent

Im from NYC and when they ask me the 5 boroughs I never remember Staten Island 🤣🤣
Same! lmao
So true Always Brooklyn first 🤣
me toooo
Which is why that chick is legit! Lol only a Staten Island girl remembers Staten Island first.
bbygrlpt2 lmao same
I feel like you can hear the New York when Rachel says "majority" more like "majarity" 2:36
Exactly!!
Yup.
Totally a ny accent marker
Not a native but that's what I thought as well
Yes!!! 100%
I knew it was her the moment she said the word “majority”
Being from mass, the redhead was sooo off... New York and Boston have similar accents and the girl in the middle sounded the most like how people around me talk
thats what i though, she sounded more boston than new york sometimes
I’m studying linguistics, also hoping to do accent reduction in the future. I guessed correctly listening to it once. I was able to solidify my guess from the word “majority,” as she used a very distinct back sound, but it was so subtle it couldn’t have been faked. She spoke with a slight high rising terminal. A lot of her vowels were wide, back and slightly nasal. I guessed correctly the first time but for the closer analysis I had to go back and re-watch. I do have to say my original guess from the short clips in the beginning, was Zeus.
Linguistics is not a real study
@@John-ru4gz 'you gone crazy?
@@John-ru4gz john is not a real name.
As a New Yorker born and raised, the minute the redhead said New York in the intro, I know she was the faker.
Once my dude said “get a chopped cheese”, he was more NY than anyone else lol
LMFAOOOO YOU CAN tell she’s from staten island because she said it first.
"Who has the New York Accent?"
*Refers to NYC*
*Stares in Rochester*
SAMEeee
Hi doodles, no u
Marlboro/Newburgh/Poughkeepsie NY over here 😜😂
JJDoodles Rochester might as well be a part of Canada tho 😂
You mean South Canada?
I’m from Long Island. I knew it was her after the first round. Not that he did a bad job. He is definitely a professional, it’s just the minor things you catch being from New York. Zeus was the first one I ruled out although he did a great job.
Guy was trying way too hard.. NY is about being fly and smooth. This cat was not that, wack..
Do you guys bring haley to laugh? like I don't understand this series
he did not get you on the hot coffee, he got you on everything your accent was terrible
Marco Baptista exactly
lmaoo
Or, you know, MAYBE THE FACT HE ALREADY HEARD HER REAL VOICE IN ANOTHER VIDEO
Lo Zeus got me. I thought his HOTDOG was too strong but then again a person who’s heard the word COFFEE in a New York accent would pronounce coffee perfectly like that. Got me good
You have to ask these suckers about certain parts in NY
The guy spent summers on Long Island? I like his style, I live on Long Island but originally from Sleepy Hollow. We have nice beaches. Rachel's from Staten Island? The home of the Impractical Jokers
Avery the Cuban-American cool
Hi american, no u
Haven't seen you in awhile, mate. How've you been?
Nice beaches... Lolz come over to Hawaii 😂 we will show you beaches
Wtf so sleepy hollow is a real place
As a Staten Islander I was bamboozled. But that’s the crazy thing about here. It’s this weird perfect blend of New York and New Jersey so you get all kinds of people who fall on the spectrum. I definitely woulda classified her more leaning towards the Jersey side of an SI accent from my experience living here.
There is no real Staten Island accent, per se though (just as there is no Brooklyn accent).
We just have the same mix of ethnic NYC accents, Italian New York, Jewish New York, Irish New York, Black New Yorok, Puerto Rican New York, as the otehr broughs have.
But city-wide the accent is fading and we have it more than the other boroughs; it's disappearing in Brooklyn and Manhattan because of all the hipster and yuppie transplants.
And then I hear new Staten Islanders , ex-Brooklynites, many of Russian or Chinese background, who pronounce Todt Hill like "Todd Hill" instead of "Toad Hill" and that makes me cringe, so they are changing up the local accent.
The Wu is strong with you 🤣😂🤣
They're from Staten Island where home girl is from XD
I live in the tri-state area and the only time I really sound like I have a New York accent is when I say coffee. Considering how many different variations there are in the New York accent it would have been more interesting if all three people were from different parts of the New York area. I would have liked to see if he could tell.
They had a guy from northern NJ in another video so I'm sure they could pull it off.
Keep your accent. I'm proud of it
I recently moved out of NJ and most people don’t pick up an accent till i say coffee or dog. It’s the au / aw sound that gives us away.
Like said above of me, be proud of it. It’s the best place in the. Country
She sounds like she could fake a Boston accent really well, the only good one she did was the British one
It wasn't good either. I could have forgiven her for not sounding like any of the many London accents if she at least counded convincingly English, but she missed in every way.
Well she's Australian so that makes sense
Wolverine101 She’s not Australian. She was on the Australian accent segment as well and her attempt at an Aussie accent was atrocious.
My husband is from England and I bet he would pick her apart with that accent.
“I don’t know what else to eat as a vegan” 🙄🙄 Don’t listen to her, there is so much fire vegan food out there 🙌🏼
Factsmyguyy she just doesn’t know what to eat, she’s not saying that the foods bad. i’m sure if she knew of the fire food she’d eat it.
I know I was like, wth. So much vegan options out there.
That was kind of pathetic...YOU KNOW THEIR ACCENTS ALREADY YOU’VE USED HER BEFORE
he said chopped cheese...I feel conned
I love this dude nerding out on his phonologic and lexical differences between dialects. It's impressive.
It’s tricky! As an African American, my family is from the south(N Carolina and Alabama). They met in New York and Had me. Being a first generation New Yorker I also have a little bit of the southern accent from my parents and family members.
Oh man... As someone who was born and raised in the deep south of Louisiana - but spent many summers visiting family in Long Island, my accent is literally all over the map! Having a twangy southern accent mixed in with a Long Island New York spin constantly throws people off... But, if you ask me, I got the best of both words and am proud to represent them both. 🤠 +🤬 = 💃meeee
@@KelleyBroussardMackaig lol, same here. I’m
Also from Long Island(Hempstead).
Yes, Black New Yorkers with roots in the South have a bit of Southern influence, even when they don't speak African American Vernacular English.
New York accents differ one from the other by ethnicity more than neighborhood, there's Jewish New York, Italian New York, Black New York, Puerto Rican New York. But some people sound more like another ethnicity. My father, who was Jewish, was often confused for an Italian American by the way he looked and spoke. If you listen to former Congressman Charlie Rangel, who is Black, he has a very Jewish New York intonation when he speaks.
Ok, I grew up in NY and Zeus had me fooled!
What gave Zeus away was when he referred to a bodega selling "chop cheese." The classic bodega sandwich is a bacon, egg and cheese on a roll.
Facts!!! New Yorkers eat BEC not chop cheese
Yesss cuz I NEVA ORDAH NO CHOP CHEESE???.BACONEGGNCHEESE ONNAROLL 2 WORDS WITH A CAWFEE LITE N SWEET...WORD!!!
What the hell is chopped cheese? I'm from New York.
Thought this too
Also when he said "the Bodega" instead of ock or papi
BUZZFEED yall killing IT!
Tip: being nice doesn’t tease out the truth ....
.... pissing them off does.
“Hi my name is Rachel and I’m from New York”
Me: Yes, you are.
It was pretty obvious. I’ve lived in NY since 2012 and after interacting with NY natives on a daily basis for years, you start to “understand” NY accent.
I'm a lifelong New Yorker, and I would have picked Zeus.
That girls face when she said daughter lol
The Great Comet closed three years ago, obviously you can like it whenever, but in context ehhh
I’m from queens so if someone says deadass a lot they from New York 😂
Ganesh Pandey welcome to high school ❤️
Ganesh Pandey also yerrrr and ya heard after everything😂😂
Im from Queens and used to say that but in HS!! Lol not anymore 👋🏻
Ganesh Pandey I’ve never been out of NC & I say deadass regularly...
I never understand these things. Like those memes that are like “you ain’t this race if you haven’t drank water!” And I’m like...?
All he had to do was ask them to read the sign for Houston St.
As someone from Long Island I knew from the start that the middle girl was from New York due to the fact that she said the one forgotten borough first
The only one I can remember is the Bronx because of the Bronx Zoo. Lol
Haha! Talented people who got him!
When homie said bodega and chop cheese I was like
Get this man outta here
Chance79th, ive never heard the store called a "bodega" until I left New York.
i knew it from the first round when she said “majarity” instead of “majority”
I don’t get the title. The title is “guess who is faking the accent” so two people should be from New York and the other should be faking, but instead the perpetrator was actually from New York and the other two weren’t. So wouldn’t that mean the title should be “guess who’s from New York” please explain if I’m wrong bc I’m really confused.
Trust me, you're not the only one. Me and my brother watched, and had to reread the title, rewatch, and reread the title again lol. We don't get it either lol
Carly Matthews ...the middle girl is actually from New York lol did you watch the end?
D. Legrand hailey isn’t from New York
The way Zeus said daughter is how I say it. I'm from Jersey. Good job dude!
“This is my science arm” is a sentence I hope I get to say one day
3:55 what is the girl in the back doing 😂😂
4:07 the look on his face, he's like "she's not even an American!"
Wow! This was really fascinating.
"Whats the typical snack at a baseball game"
Me: i dunno, how am I supposed to know, peanuts?
I’m originally from Brooklyn, moved to Staten Island in junior high, and many people can’t tell I’m from NY (let alone Brooklyn). I guess people tend to think if my accent isn’t thick or a typical nyc accent then I’m not from there 😕 I guess sometimes some people from nyc have slight accents and no one can tell, not even New Yorkers
Who else read this in a Brooklyn accent? No.. just me? 😂
Hey You lol yass! There’s a whole spectrum that accents can range from. You don’t need to be at one end of the spectrum to show people that you’re from nyc.
raratey lol same 😂
ItzJoJo94, that's the frustrating part. Accents are for show and it's clearly a sign of conformity. That individual sounded forced and phony. I'm from East New York, they too would be shocked.
@@yojo7870 east ny brwnsvll and coney island got the strong ny accent
Am the only one annoyed that an actual New Yorker isn’t the guesser
IKR, son was looking totally clueless. You can tell by the person's persona and confidence. That dude and red headf chick didn't have it... New Yorkers are smooth and sure of themselves. It can come of as arrogant and cocky. Whateever 🗽
It's interesting that these people are faking their accent but I tried so many years to get rid of my New York accent.
They just gotta say "bacon egg and cheese" and you'd know right away. lol
Hailey has been in like every one of these episodes lol he probably knows her by now
ZEUS that's not fair! "summers on long island with my cousins" ok so his parents are from new york and his entire family is from new york HE TALKS LIKE HE'S FROM HERE. his accent is like 80% new york
My parents and family are from Norfolk VA . Uncle lived in NY 👌🏿
As soon as Rachel pronounced the word majority as "majAHrity", I knew she was from NYC.
Zeus really nailed the accent when he said hot chawclate instead of chocolate, I was sold.
I never realized how short PJ Harvey is.
When the girl in the middle said majority I thought he would catch that, like the way they say orange
Zeus having spent time in long island makes him more of a new yorker
When she said the word majority, she pronounced it as majarity. That’s a New Yorker
Or British!
3:41 it's like she kinda answered as a question. she was trying to think of the "right" answer lol
I thought it was the hipster chick from the beginning. It might be the difference between listening to a clean recording on the video and talking to her in person but she does have a subtle NY timbre that I would think is hard to imitate.
Good show, good music background at the closing.
read the title, saw diet coach, didn't question it
That red haired girl’s “New York Accent” sounds a mix of like a British accent and something out of Jersey Shore 💀
I can only distinguish two American accents; northern and southern
Ohio: Allow us to introduce ourselves
I rewatched this video. It's actually about trying to find the real accent among the actors doing their best to imitate the accent. Therefore, the one with the real accent may or may not try to make their accent less noticeable so that it'll be more of a challenge.
Rachel just laughing the entire time in the background lol
okay obviously the red hair british accent girl is not from new york
She's not British

why do I keep watching these... why do they use the same people every time
You making it easy, only three people!
OMG ! I lived in NY for 10 years Zues Had me!
