I was thinking maybe if Christ is invoked or prayed and worshipped, prayed to continually, then the teachings must be right. After all, ministers are given this opportunity to serve. But little good or victory comes. Why? My soul suffers my 53:17 needs, not wants. My body demands it of my soul, and, spirituality we can only be sustained by His Word and the Holy Spirit in our lives. What possible rift could exist that Christ's atonement wouldn't eliminate,? It's not easy to live at all and remained unscathed at all from this world. Scathed and plundered at times. Nothing one can do. Lord help us where we are at, I pray.

51:32 Therefore, it was reckon to Him as righteousness. 23 - Now not for his sake only was it written, that it was reckoned to him, 24 - but for our sake also, to whom it will be reckoned, as those who believed in Him who raised Jesus, our Lord, from the dead, 25 - He was delivered up because of our transgression, and was raised for our justification.
It seems there is a mistranslation of the verses 24 & 25 ; in another translation it is written this way :
24 - but for our sake also, to whom it will be reckoned, as those who believed in Him who raised from the dead, our Lord Jesus, 25 - delivered up {by God} because of our transgression, and raised {by God} for our justification.
I couldn't understand spiritually the meaning of Jesus' raising from the dead until I listened & heard to these verses of the Bible. We must *identify* in each steps of what Jesus accomplished during His death, burial *and* resurrection. I missed the resurrection part somehow in my own experience, since it was still not clear for me until I "saw" Jesus raising in my mind. I was already dead but still in the tomb until I realised I had (& have) to raise *as/with/in Him* to be justified. That I could raise with Him. We're changed into Him by having left who we were that was put to death then buried : we're in this manner dissociated from our old self that has been executed & buried, that we might raise and associate to Him and be liberated in Him!
I was focused on the cross mainly ; and this is not sufficient to strictly achieve the regeneration process.
When we understand & realise the three steps of what accomplished Jesus, we finally fully realise the significance of what He accomplished for us.
Thank you God for having given me this insight of Your Mercy upon us, through the sacrifice of Your beloved Son Jesus.

I find it hard to reconcile DPs emphasis on "if we keep on believing" with Ephesians 1/2 - having believed we are sealed with the Holy Spirit, seated with Christ in the heavenlies. We are either born again or not. If we stop believing are we un-born again, then born-again-again if we believe again?

The Law demands death so for a sinner to keep Law he must willingly submit to death. Jesus - "whosoever will come after me must deny himself and take up his cross" Christ Jesus in faith died the death required by the Law for all but especially for those who believe in that each must receive for themselves by the faith of God. Romans 6:1-11 "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: 9 knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. 10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord." and 1 Corinthians 15:29-31 & 55-58 we are by faith baptized into Christ Jesus death - "Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead? 30 And why stand we in jeopardy every hour? 31 I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily." & "Death is swallowed up in victory. 55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? 56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord." The works of faith are not keeping of the Law after having died to it by being baptized into Christ's death by faith but rather works of love toward others as Christ demonstrated His love toward us. 1 John 4:10-11 "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another."

"The Law demands death so for a sinner to keep Law he must willingly submit to death." What do you mean here? Submit to death? Physically? No. The Law doesn't demand that. If so, where? (reference). Adamic nature. Yes. Which is exactly what DP is saying! All your quotes are NT. (Except the Hosea quoted in I Cor 15) . So I don't understand what you are trying to say.

Its also good to read the Present with Religion, a book available for free on the internet. The book is about the truth of life and it shows the full picture of life for the first time so that you may stop being deceived by the world and be able to follow the steps of Jesus and other prophets to Heaven.Knowing the whole truth of life is the key factor in our salvation. We must know the real truth, all of it and live in it and change ourselves according to it in order to be saved. There is no other way to our salvation. With the knowledge of the truth there comes true repentance which means changing our minds and also true obediance to God' s law and finally our sanctification which is a lifong process. And God in His mercy will give us His wonderful grace which is the time and ability to make the proper change.Only in thia way will we be able to attain our eternal salvation. Our task is to find this narrow gate that leads to God and do it quickly and stay on it till the end no matter what. Then and only then we will be saved. There is nothing more important or serious to do in this fallen world as our eternal fate depends on it.

Faith without WORKS is dead....You missed to read St James letter....plus the many times all trough the Bible, where JESUS says....Everyone shall be rewarded ACCORDING TO HID DEEDS..... so its Not just Faith alone....We can learn a lot from Mother teresa.GOD BLESS ALL.

Im sure he would agree faith without works is dead. I think the theme here is the works we do dont grant us the forgiveness of sin, they don't erase the sin we've done it doesnt clean our slate. Only the Blood of Jesus does that, which is why faith in what He did on the cross in dying for our sins is necessary. This true faith will reflect in good works because our actions are the fruit of what we truly believe. Faith then produces the works, which is what James taught when he said show me your faith by your works. The faith was first but if your faith is real it will reflect in your deeds. The point of the teaching here is works can't earn you salvation because they don't wash away your sins, faith in Jesus does that.

+Aaron James so you are the type of "Saved by Faith" member? Just proclaim with your mouth Romans 10 vr 9-11 and thats its?? Christians were left with THE Real Presence of JESUS CHRIST himself in the HOLY EUCHARIST. Which is only obtained by the Catholic Church, the Only Church established by CHRIST himself. Eventually All will come to this understanding in the end. GOD BLESS and good day.
