I totally thought Carlos was single and intimidated by Tara's beauty, until he said he was married :D. Then it was cute how his eyes kept moving as he was singing the first time -- You KNOW he was thinking "ugh, this is embarrassing, I don't sound as good as I was hoping I would in front of her", and then the eyes kept moving and he was all "wow she REALLY KNOWS what she's talking about and I'm sounding like this". Such a good sport and he really started to get it towards the end!

You can tell this was so far outside of his comfort zone. Singing on the fly and in public is incredibly hard. He was a brave soul and did much better :)
I think it was confusing him cause Tara was singing the note at a lower octave yet was asking him to sing higher, so given he’s not a singer, he was hearing her sing the same note, but low, so he kept going low too.
I can very much say that he did sang better in seconds. Although, I feel like, that I can sing on pitch well , but also sort of struggle on which note to start on. I'll work on it though. You're looking beautiful. God bless you. 🙏❤
Also, on memorizing lyrics, I feel like I'm doing well, but really I tend to sing to a spot I know , and then I stop, and pick up back on what I know. Would like help.
… happens to me too … and when it does, I just pick the lowest note in the song and sing it with the lowest I am capable of - that determines the key in which I then comfortably can proceed (amateur though …). My biggest struggle is vibrato and tremolo (yodeling is out of the question, it will probably always be).

I know vocal coach but I would’ve done a few exercises where he gets into his nasal area by doing a couple of“ nae nae nae‘s“ so that he can hear and feel for himself the difference is voice is doing. How do you know the difference between his head voice and it’s just a voiceAnd how they sound distinct from each other he might’ve had a easier time hitting the higher Note

A thought just came to me, during CoVid 19, when we were all in isolation, an idea would have been to go on Omegle and teach random people online how to sing better in seconds

That was a tough one Tara but very cute yeah it's difficult to stay on pitch and to train your brain that way.

He was improving until the end of the video when he sang way below the correct notes but as you said it takes time and work 🤷🏾♂️✊🏾
