About 2018 CMT Artists of the Year:
For the first time in its eight-year history, the CMT Artists of the Year special will be dedicated entirely to honoring country music’s women of the past, present and future. Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman, and Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott are the honorees. The special airs Wednesday, October 17th, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on CMT.
Love it
Hi ! Does anyone know why the videos of the performances have been deleted from RUclips? And where could I find them ? Thanks !
Here I am just wondering why Kacey musgraves and Brandy Clark are not there in those women. They both deserve more attention in this country music industry. I honestly feel disappointed watching this show.
well, she named 35 individuals or groups, she only had a minute, couldn't name every female in nashville, LOL. kacey has 3 number one country albums and a grammy, i think she is above this group. brandy has a dozen songwriting nominations and won the CMA for kacey's song, you could argue she could be better appreciated for singing, but there are literally hundreds of female songwriters in nashville writing for big stars, can't recognize everyone
Well said.
But what I actually mean is i cannot understand why Kacey Musgraves was not chosen to be AOTY although she is having a massive year. It means she has been underrated all the time by country radio and television. NO DOUBT
Very memorable
Love Kimberly. Pulling out your phone? That is not how you do it. That's just gauche.
