This is the real stuff bass players need. Even if you are a metal/pop/cam bass player, learning jazz bass will benefit your knowledge of chord structure and harmony along with teaching rhythm.

Anthony Vitty is a Berklee instructor who is also a really good player. He has some really great books with CDs on Funk bass, slapping and finger style bass.

Thank you. I bought it and will start working on it. First I conclude the book Jazz Electric Bass from Alex Carreri. That is the best learning Jazz book I own.

Thanks for the review. I actually have this book, but I l never went through it. I think I’m in a place with my playing where it will be very beneficial.
