You're right and it's a damn shame. Steve had a voice that could break glass. The Pie to this day are one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time
Steve Marriott was SO high energy, doing his music. He died a terrible death. It's good that Peter Framton hasn't forgotten his Humble Pie days. I doubt that many people in that audience ever even heard of Steve or Humble Pie. They out to be given 30 DAYS IN THE HOLE!
Oh please stop my misery seeing this! He needs to give credit to Steve Marriott, you know the great voice who never got paid, got ripped off and died a tragic death, and oh by the way Peter left Humble Pie after Fillmore East.
Сам я с 1953 г. и с творчеством Питера Фрэмтона знаком хорошо. Его голос и игра всегда узнаваема. Его нет с нами , но рок и его творчество не растворится во времени и пространстве...
Love seeing Peter play this song instead of his usual backlog of pop songs. Steve Marriott was a powerful R nR force for HP. Hope more people learn of his influence on HP.
I can't believe that hardly no one was there...I'd have killed! Rock on Peter! Always a fan, and I could never understand why so much was about your appearance (hair) instead of your command of the guitar and voice. Sincere thanks and I will "ROCK-OUT" to this song (and others) always....
I said exactly the same thing: people are just walking behind stage, just like nothing would happen .. and with such a caliber performance just few feet away. We would KILL to see this it live back in the days.!
I remember seeing Humble Pie in concert several times in the early 70’s . They always put on a good show. Steve Marriott would sing and play his a$$ off every time. Peter was in the band for awhile. Whatever the lineup was the band sounded great 😊
Give it a thumbs up. That's a great song. Peter did it just like when he was in Humble Pie. Of course we can't forget Steve Marriot , who's voice was night and day above most other singers in any band. They still did a good job.
Underrated?? His 1976 double live album was one of the highest selling live rock albums of all time, it WAS the highest selling album of 1976. It was voted best album of the year by Rolling Stone readers, it has gone platinum 8 times over. Frampton has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He wrote songs, and recorded music for the Russel Crowe movie "Almost Famous" and tutored the actor that played the lead guitarist of the fictional band of the movie. By the way, check out his duet with Eric Clapton ,playing "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", the George Harrison/Beatles number. search here on RUclips for "Eric Clapton and Peter Frampton" and you will quickly find it. Underrated? not by any musicians or people who like to listen to rock-guitar.
Frampton English rock star, in my opinion the best era of his rock life HUMBLE PIE. Just rocktastic LOL love it. Come back to England Pete and play for us Pleeeease
Could you imagine walking up to this in the middle of The city, Bad ass!!!! I saw Humble Pie in the 70’s with Peter playing in the band, also bad ass!!!!!!!!! 👍🎸👍
Steve Marriott would be proud that his old bandmate is keeping this great Humble Pie tune alive... saw Humble Pie right after Frampton had left the group... they killed!
my wife and i have seen peter at least 4 times the last time with greg allman how lucky we were peter is one of the greatest guys my wife still has her rolling stone from 77 with peter on the cover
Peter and x-member's version of this at the Steve Marriott Tribute Concert was much better than this one. But the killer version is Beth Hart's live performance Live at the Paradiso!!
"Bob Mayo on the keyboards... Bob Mayo". On the keyboards and everything else. PF's sound would be nowhere near as good without him. RIP Bob. Thanks for the memories.
Just a great example of how uncool New York City is. People having to go by, uninvolved, meeting their selfish deadlines, totally self-involved, prickish, cold and rude true New Yorkers....and Frampton is rockin their ass off/
I dont need no doctor .The best live rock song ever recorded.Humble pie was incredible its too bad frampton left when he did right at their peak.We know frampton did great on his own unlike marriot.
dont need no dr but man u could used some marriot! humble pie with peter and steve just smoked...it was like townshend and clapton decided to form a band but better then that!
In his younger years, I used to think Peter's voice was very much like Steve's voice. Me and my girlfriend in high school, our favorite band Humble Pie! BTW where is this? is this in Houston?
Peter Frampton always lamented that he never got to do the reunion with Steve Marriott and humble pie basis Marriott burned to death in a fire at his home
Coroner ruled his death from smoke inhalation. Sadly in the chaos, Steve tried to escape, but mistook the closet door for the hallway and was overcome by smoke before he could correct his mistake. Horrific to think about. RIP Steve, sadly missed.
Surely Peter is Glad to have that old "Three Pickup Les Paul" it was said to have gone down in a tragic equipment legitimately plane wreck.... Page got his back t2?
You're right and it's a damn shame. Steve had a voice that could break glass. The Pie to this day are one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time
People walking by & not stopping. I would have eaten dirt to see this .!!!!
G.R, Dray non of them have heard live at Fillmore and its Nashville.
Yes. Sign of the times. Total lack of awareness! It was against this that this generation of 60/70 rebelled !! ...
G.R, Dray , This should have stopped traffic!
I would have jumped out of a moving car 😉
Well said sir and agreed.
I woulda stopped and yelled with joy 🤩

Seen em, without Frampton though...
The World Misses Steve ! I also like Black Coffee his piercing High Notes were right on
Nice job. Marriott was a madman. Sang this like the world was ending in 6 minutes.
Eventually it did, unfortunately. Great tragedy.
Steve Marriott was only 5ft3 but rocked his ass off. High energy rocker always. 🎸🎤
Love seeing Peter play this song instead of his usual backlog of pop songs. Steve Marriott was a powerful R nR force for HP. Hope more people learn of his influence on HP.
If you haven't, watch Marriott in his Small Faces clips. The guy was a force wherever he played.
With Peter Frampton you can always be sure of killer playing and wholehearted performances.
So underrated as a Rock guitarist. Before fame w/ the softer stuff, he rocked w/ the best of them. 'Humble Pie.'
He's not underrated at all. Never has been.
underrated???
FCA was ROCKED. not soft..
It’s nice to see Pete playing one of his old Humble Pie songs. Rock on. 👍🏻👍🏻
Most people probably didn't know who he was or the fact he played in Humble Pie. I'd have hung out all day to see this.
Me too.
Facts
this song gives a shiver up the spine every time! Rock On!!!
Peter Frampton is the fuckin Man!
I can't believe that hardly no one was there...I'd have killed! Rock on Peter! Always a fan, and I could never understand why so much was about your appearance (hair) instead of your command of the guitar and voice. Sincere thanks and I will "ROCK-OUT" to this song (and others) always....

Humble Pie Rockin the Filmore has to be one of the greatest live performances of this song, as is the rest of the album.
humble pie, greatest rock band of the greatest rock age, nice tribute!
o tribute Peter was in Humble Pie for awhile
I remember seeing Humble Pie in concert several times in the early 70’s . They always put on a good show. Steve Marriott would sing and play his a$$ off every time. Peter was in the band for awhile. Whatever the lineup was the band sounded great 😊

Incredible and Bob Mayo- fuckin' awesome player.
Vocals, keys, guitar, who the hell can hang with Frampton? Who has the balls? I miss Bob Mayo. "Bob Mayo on the keyboards, Bob Mayo." Lol, awesome..
The underrated as a lead guitarist Frampton putting the high heat on here.
Under-rated? I think not. Do you know how many millions of copies of Frampton Comes Alive were sold?

10 years ago my son and I saw Peter on free July 4th show. There were thousands there.
How great to see Frampton and Bobbie Mayo together here…
Transfixed watching this. Peter sets up on a sidewalk and opens the doorway straight to the very heart of rock.
they completely killed that song
One of my favorites.
yes, like he said... those people watching didn't realize the magnitude of this. This is ad good as it gets
He did a small gig at the Columbus Zoo back in the 90s and he put on a fantastic show I'm glad I got to see it it was great.
This is amazing!!! Love you Peter!!
A lot of people don't even know who he is. Or that he was part of Humble Pie . That's sad.
G.R, Dray I saw humble pie with Steve and Peter open for Robin Trower early 70’s great show.
So true , saw them at the Tea Party in Boston and at the Music Hall just couldn't t touch them live
We were fortunate
R.I.P. Bobby Mayo

@@gabevachon326
Yes, unfortunately. He passed in Feb of 2004 while touring with Peter in Switzerland. Heart attack.

no he didnt burn he was suffocated.

Smoking kills.
Coolio.
