  • Just maybe my favorite tuck case in my collection...
A quick caveat... you're gonna see attempt some cardistry and in some rare cases some magic tricks, let me apologize in advance for the shoddiness of my mechanics. Truth is a few caveats, I’m not a cardist or a magician, but my love affair with playing cards goes back far. Watching my grandfather and father playing cards with friends and family still count as some of my earliest memories. . I apologize in advance for my crappy mechanics. Some decades later, I found myself frequent a lot of poker tables and fancied myself a bit of an amutuer rounder--I lived off of what I made playing cards for about year. Then I lost my ass in Atlantic City and that was the end of that. But I never lost the affinity for the feel of card deck in my hands. I’ve also been a collector of many different sorts. Comic books when I was younger, scale action figures later. They put me on TV once for my ⅙ scale diorama collection. To me Comics, Figures, and Cards are art. That’s what draws me to them, and the stories they might tell makes them worth reviewing.I am an avid collector of classical and pop art though, and playing cards slot pretty nicely in there..
I plan on doing a lot more of these for many different kinds and styles of decks.
    Hope you enjoy it!

You need to be on TV, your production quality and charisma is amazing.

Another incredible video, using the blade shadow, the knife as a pointer, macros, as someone who loves the lore, craft and history in these cards, i appreciate what you do! Look forward to more decks from you as well

I'm looking at getting into cardistry and just purchased some cards from theory 11. This is what I bought: The Monarch, The High Victorian, Contraband, and the Artisans Luxury box edition.

I do like cards, the court cards I thought would of had genuine royalty seeing how it's Victorian inspired.

Nice review! These are currently available at Barnes and Noble and Target. Target also has an exclusive Red High Victorian, with red backs instead of black, and a red and gold tuck case.

i copped this deck today, it's not my preference but it's still a good deck of cards.. the tuck case is obviously what stands out the most

Love this tuck case but hate the fact that they made the back of the cards just black and white instead of green with gold foil .. the reds are nicer since the backs are red .. still a nice deck .
    Thanks for the reviews !

I’ve noticed that half the time I buy from the Theory 11 Website, the cards are not printed in the center. Some are 1-2 mm off center. Enough to make it noticeable and possibly cheat in a card game. Anyone else encounter this

Do you guys remove the stamp on the tuck cases or cut through them and leave them on ..?
I've been normally removing them but I also seen other people leave it on..
not sure if there's a unspoken rule lol

Now I get why they don't highlight the cards on the seller page. Will skip these ones. The best part about the deck is the tuckcase.
This would change if the cards where the same gold & emerald. My guess is the production cost would be outrageous or the greens/golds would not look shiny & nice.

I hate it when the deck box is better looking than the back of the card.

Just bought this as a suggestion from my gf...not gana lie...i was disappointed about tha back face of the cards...but then again...with the tuck case...it makes it worth it...and tha design on the back of the cards...i have them sitting on the arm of my chair and every once in awhile the tuck case tempts me to pull them out...as a man with fidget and sensory issues i find myself randomly doing cardistry tricks...failed attempts or not...as they feel good woth the hands...and i hear no sound hardly with every card pull..
Feels like rubbing plastic together...u can hear it with ur brain as u touch them...like one woth tha cards...(dont roast me about it being a yugioh quote)... But main reason y i like them even more so much is cuz it was my gfs pick...shes a nut for the color green...and also a nut for victorian style...and it makes this more than just a deck of cards...but a good memory that makes this deck priceless to me...itll always serve as a memory...it looks beautiful like her...feels nice like her...and u can never pit a price tag on memories or things u love... so as a standard deck collector... depending on ur preferences...id rate it as a 50/50...but as a memory that my lady picked out...i rate this as priceless...and i widnt give this deck away for a million bucks...cuz the next one i can buy...isnt this one my lady picked out for me...
