Will you guys be updating you current CMP to utilize the Xbox controller in the same way? Currently, unless I’m missing something, I have to revert to mouse to select between cameras because they’re not an option to key that function to the Xbox controller. If that IS possible and I’m just dumb, help a brother out 😂

      Hello!
Yes, the PTZOptics Camera Management Platform (CMP) supports the use of Xbox controllers for controlling PTZOptics cameras. You can use an Xbox controller to pan, tilt, and zoom the cameras, offering a more tactile and intuitive control option compared to mouse and keyboard.
Here’s a quick overview on how to set it up:
      1. Connect the Xbox Controller:
Plug the Xbox controller into the USB port on the computer running the CMP software.
      2. Open CMP:
Launch the CMP application on your PC or Mac.
      3. Configure the Xbox Controller:
Go to the Settings in CMP.
Look for the option to enable external controllers, where you can select the Xbox controller from the list of available devices.
      4. Assign Functions:
The CMP allows you to customize certain buttons for specific functions like panning, tilting, zooming, and switching between camera presets.
Once the controller is recognized, you should be able to control the camera movements directly from the Xbox controller.
