_WHAT_ is that amazing marking tool you are using?! It's like you shoved a graphite dowel into a stick-what a time/effort saver!
(Yes, I know this vid is 5 years old and the likelihood Scott will see this is nil, but.... still!)

Keep up the great work Scott. I appreciate the time and effort you put into making these videos. And I know where to come when and if I need to make one of the various type of window coverings you've shown here. :)

Nothing ages fabric faster than washing them! I have been back to repeat customers houses that we installed custom valances 15 years plus ago and they look the same as when we put them up! Lightly vacuum with a brush attachment is all that is needed!

This is my first time making anything of this sort. I am making a cornice with jabots. I live in a remote area with no fabric stores close by. I am having to shop by internet which is very challenging to someone who knows basically nothing about fabrics. What types of fabrics make nicely pleated jabots? What fabrics should I avoid? I know I could do this if I was touching the fabric, but searching online requires at least a basic knowledge of fabrics.

My favorite fabric to work with is cotton or a cotton mix. Silk or faux silks are the hardest to work with. Good luck! Scott
