Kevin Wayne Durant (born September 29, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played one season of college basketball for the University of Texas, and was selected as the second overall pick by the Seattle SuperSonics in the 2007 NBA draft. He played nine seasons in Oklahoma City before signing with Golden State in 2016, winning back-to-back championships in 2017 and 2018.
Durant was a heavily recruited high school prospect who was widely regarded as the second-best player in his class. In college, he won numerous year-end awards and became the first freshman to be named Naismith College Player of the Year. As a professional, he has won two NBA championships, an NBA Most Valuable Player Award, two Finals MVP Awards, the NBA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player Award, four NBA scoring titles, the NBA Rookie of the Year Award, and two Olympic gold medals. Durant has also been selected to eight All-NBA teams and nine NBA All-Star teams.

It has 30 teams (29 in the United States and 1 in Canada) and is an active member of USA Basketball, which is recognized by FIBA (also known as the International Basketball Federation) as the national governing body for basketball in the United States.
Russell Westbrook III[1] (born November 12, 1988) is an American professional basketball player for the Oklahoma City Thunder of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is a seven-time NBA All-Star, and a two-time NBA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player, winning consecutive awards in 2015 and 2016. He is also a seven-time All-NBA Team member and led the league in scoring in 2014-15 and 2016-17. In 2017, Westbrook became one of two players in NBA history to average a triple-double for a season, along with Oscar Robertson in 1962. He also set a record for the most triple-doubles in a season, with 42.[2] He was subsequently named the 2016-17 NBA Most Valuable Player. This feat was repeated the following season when he again averaged a triple-double across 80 games.[3] In 2017-18, he also led the league in assists for the first time.
Westbrook played college basketball for the UCLA Bruins and earned third-team all-conference honors in the Pac-10. He was selected with the fourth overall pick in the 2008 NBA draft by the Seattle SuperSonics, who then relocated to Oklahoma City six days later. Westbrook has represented the United States national team twice, winning gold medals in the 2010 FIBA World Championship and the 2012 Olympics.

KD and Russ, are like a young relationship. How great you can be is overcome by how selfish you are at a young age. Even when the world (the right team, with James Harden) on your side, sometime your inexperience hinders you. Someone leaves (KD) and it causes a bitter break up. The one who leaves (KD) says he’ll never leaves and he loves it here but does like an ex who says they love you but leaves. Russ, a hurt heartbroken ex, takes it to extremes. KD, still young and naive, says he made the right choice. KD wins rings. Russ wins an MVP. Now, KD is stating he never felt included, like an ex who says their relationship is so perfect when it isn’t. KD leaves it. Russ, realizes his own situation (team or in this metaphor, friends and family) is toxic, and decides to leave them behind but still have love for them. Both acknowledge what could’ve been. Both realize it’s too late. Both move on. NBA; more than a game.
