Its always fascinated me that whoever we play as in this can get their own Happiest Day. Nearly everything has been corrupted to be “meta,” including OMC, yet were still someone in-universe accomplishing tasks and can move on. Whoever we play as wouldve died before the events of FNAF3, but its also implied they have a connection to Michael because their happiest memory is watching TV with, presumably, their family. I think the most likely option is were CC setting up Happiest Day to let the MCI, Puppet, and himself move on, or were Mrs. Afton setting up Happiest Day so CC, Puppet, and 4 MCI kids can move on. Cassidy stays back to torment William.
I need a venn diagram of what all this meant before the rewrite and what it means now lol. I love FNaF World. Full stop. I can't understand the reception it got. It was so different from FNaF in all the right ways that it alleviated the Five Nights at Fatigue setting in, it had a perfect balance of funny and unsettling. Cute and lore. I am a sucker for party RPGs though. The Kirby fan in me sings. Glitchbear talks like the vengeful spirit though. Same speach patterns. Not really like Charlie, who comes across younger imo. More naive? Maybe this game was the Vengeful one's coping mechanism, a mental sanctuary for the hell they were trapped in now. Charlie was kinda gambling on a long term big picture idea. After 20+ years I would be put out at her, too. Death is better than an undead prison. (Also, has the Vengeful one always been able to go in and out of code?! In retrospect, seems like the untethered one always had that ability.)
fnaf world has such a weird yet interesting lore, i wish there was more fnaf games with storytelling like this
