I must be considered OG now because I was at Zen Fest in Orlando in 95 or 96, RITM and JoshWink were headliners. Holy FUCK that was mind-blowing, and as evidenced in their set and by the comments from youngsters, here, RITM still blowing minds ♥️

I saw Rabbit in the Moon in AZ about 13 years ago. Was incredible, these poor dudes in front of me during the show were terrified the whole set. They kept screaming what is happening?!? It was glorious

Holy shit, now I completely understand why there were so many OG ravers in the chat waiting for this set. I can't believe I've been raving 10 years and never knew about these guys, that had to be the best rave a thon performance yet, the showmanship is incredible! And that last song is especially incredible. These guys deserve so much more recognition, I REALLY hope we get to see them at EDC or Nocturnal!!!

I saw them at umf Miami in 2019 and they were my favorite djs of all others. Even way better than the other world's famous djs.

I've seen them hand full of times over the last 20 years. While this wasn't a dark, dingy warehouse or club, this was a great way to see them.

RITM are legends who have been killing it for years. I remember them live in 1997, and they still blow me away today.
I saw them in 2000(at nocturnal of all places) and yeah, im amazed they still going strong!
My first show was at the Grove in Tallahassee in 97. It was 21 up so I had to sneak in. Been a faithful ever since.

Same probably around 99 ish, DMC in Dallas by far one of the most memorable shows..they had the pitch bend machine that was air controlled back then.
The Zulu shows were epic...it’s just not done like that anymore

This is the old school rave. After the 90’s the music wasn’t as good as the early days. Saw them live in 1994.

David Christophere has been talking and sharing ideas with Cevin Key from Skinny Puppy and it really shows with the tweaks and additions to the songs we know and love from RITM. Love this set
Is that true? Sweet! cEvin is one of my absolute heroes. Skinny Puppy, my favorite band to this day.
RITM was always up there for live electronic acts. Along with Orbital, Shpongle and “Orblivion”-era Orb. Those were my acts in the late 90s, although Shpongle was more in the early 00s for me....
@@mola55e5 yessir, in fact recently David has been a guest on Cevins Patreon page, on some group chats. Rhys fulber from Front Line Assembly, Otto Von and a few other great artists all working in something soon. Cevin has a new solo album about to drop very soon.

first time i saw them was a little gathering most probably dont remember a gathering called zen 96'. "raving is not a crime movement"
I was lucky enough to see RITM late 90's early 2000's (big time fan), this was around the time that FL breaks was in full swing in the South. Ill always remember when they first played the DMC, the Decibel, etc., (both closed now), we lost our minds! Amazing performances! That FL sound is sooooo unique. This was during and after the time that DJ Monk was with RITM. Texas saw a lot of RITM, DJ Monk, Jackal & Hyde, Baby Anne, DJ Icey, etc., thanks for bringing FL talent to the South, left an impression on a lot of us!

The end gave me goosebumps, so many great memories of the late 90s in Florida. One of my favorite times seeing them was at the rub in tampa, bunny dressed up as santa.

Got to see them live couple of weeks ago and yes, they still bringing the energy and deep bass to their set. Happy trip everyone!
Circa 1997-98, my vg friend absolutely "raved on and on" about this group. And I mean literally! He probably saw them like 4-5 times before me all the while never shutting up about the performance etc, etc. ad nauseam!! He got the rabbit tattoo, the one that looks Aztec-like (a rabbit glyph enclosed in circular boarder).
We finally went to the same party where RITM were headlining. I gotta say, the music wasn't the absolute best for dancing etc; at times the breaks were unconventional. However, I totally got it; the whole package. They were made for finishing or closing out clubs. RITM was Live and making music right on the stage and additionally, they were true visual effect showman making the experience top- Top Notch! RITMs gig was to not only satisfy our audio taste-buds but additionally satisfy and stimulate the audiences visual senses.
I will never ever forget the metal face grinder when the music hits. Add super fast strobe light effect.

The Zulu parties @ the State Palace Theater were so fucking dope. Don't forget about the roof top access circa 1999 the night of Y2K.... K alright. We watched a digital count down on a laser projector with the most moving quotes on the ceiling. It's literally burned in my mind forever. Thank you all mad love.
