- In this video I'll Compare former Yonko and caption of beast pirates Kaido against every relevant marines in one piece. we'll see matchups like Kaido against Akainu, Aokiji, Garp, Sengoku etc etc.

Prime Sengoku is always heavily downplayed he's outright stated to be Comparable to Garp , Roger and Shiki , All the 5 Legends before the Golden Era Of Piracy are all relative , I don't know why Prime Sengoku and Shiki are always downplayed and placed lower than most Yonkos
For Shiki, maybe because one piece strong world lol.

Prime garp is not really that much stronger than kaido, i'll say he's about 96-97% at prime garp's overall power level.
Garp & Sengoku are closer than that, both in Legend Tier.
Kaido's "Flaming Dragon Torch" isn't a transformation, it's just his strongest attack. Also, Kaido has 2 Hybrid forms.

Kaido would be cooked in Marineford.You had like old Garp and Sengoku,3 Admirals as well.He wouldnt stand a chance.Also there is no legend lvl.Old gen is not that mutch stronger rather they are comparable to the current top tiers .Roger,Whitebeard,Garp,Xebec,Shiki are close to Shanks we can say Shanks is little bit stronger than Shiki but he is not MUTCH weaker than Roger or Garp.

This list is pretty perfect. The only thing is Garp and Sengoku are a lot closer than that. I do think Garp was a little stronger but not by that much.

Both have been shown to be on the same pedestal/spoken in the same notoriety (implying they are equal/relative)

Good but there are two major issues , First off Flaming Drum Dragon Kaido is Kaido's Strongest Form confirmed by him and by Feats shown against Luffy , Akainu > Kuzan > Kaido (Might sound crazy to Casual fans ofc but Akainu is stated to be stronger than Old Sengoku who's relative to Old Garp confirmed by a Databook who's stated to be able to pulverize any pirate in the New World including Kaido , Shanks , Whitebeard etc)

Kuzan and akainu is stronger than Kaido. Kuzan is debatable. But he is defintely on the same level as kaido. And kaido was overwhelmed by luffy os snakeman. He couldnt do shit to him at first. Kixaru one shotted him. And akainu is stated to be the strongest marine in the history. He is stronger than garp
