Best Davinci color grade channel I've found thus far based on all videos I've watched from this channel. For a reference, I created all the background worlds for Spider-man 3's VFX final battle sequence for which I also color timed and graded the plates and elements. I've can't stop watching this channel. A+
Just a PSA @2:07 If you want the vertical format of resolution, just check the box for "Use vertical resolution" This will swap the Width & Height parameters so you don't have to enter manually. 👍🏼
Thank you again Kasia, these tips are excellent. I make shorts often and the tool you illustrated is now going to save me a lot of time, thank you so much 😘
Wow, so I just have to say... first time watching your content but you were quick to the point, you covered all the steps and I learned a lot. Subscribed and will be looking into your catalogue for more help. :) Thanks!
Thanks so much for your great videos. Just a handy tip related to your reframe section, in case you weren't already aware: Timeline resolution can be toggled in the Cut page, using the resolution dropdown menu at top-right. Portrait is one of the presets there. Just a nice way to save a few clicks.

Hi teacher ; I wish you the very best from IRAN . I learned a lot from you . thank you so much . autre chose , je voudrais vous dire que vous etes merveilleusement joli , encore merci
Great video. Do you increase your resolution the same way when exporting to instagram format? I don't know why it always looks horrible on my end. I don't know if I'm doing it wrong.
Hi, great, we don't speak English, we'll use a translator,,, we would like to know if SUPER SCALE works in clips recorded with DJI Drones in 4k which have small sensors and do not give good quality, would you improve them?,,,,, and what difference would there be? in the 2x, 2x Enhanced, 3x etc, options, which one would you recommend? Thank you!!! 👍👍
Great video Kasia! About Super Scale effect , one question..have your compared this way into Davinci to do the rescale against using external tools as Topaz Video?
AI is a term being abused far too much these days. If companies don't employ new "AI" tools to boost sales, stock prices etc they feel like they are left behind. None of this is AI or deep learning, it's just basic algorithms. There's no giant dataset being accessed each frame. There's no higher intellect at work behind the scenes. Even the speed warp combined with motion blur denoise, which creates in between frames for slow motion, as impressive as it is, is not AI. It's the same as Interpolation in After Effects which has been around for decades, it's just been highly optimised to predict what it thinks should be there, using nothing but mathematics. But nowadays we have to call everything AI because it makes it sound exciting.
You’re 100% correct. The term AI is being abused, because it’s a trending topic that every company wants to ride. If you want to learn more about AI and Deep Learning from an industry professional, then I recommend Pierian Training.
@@kylepuckett6786 Thanks. There's a new game out called Vaudville on Steam which I would actually call AI, because you can talk into the mic at the NPCs in the game and actually hold a conversation in real time that mostly passes the Turing Test. Some of it is scripted to keep the game on track, and they have robot voices and bad graphics, but the whole point of the game is you are a detective and have to physically talk to everyone to find out who the killer is. It's really interesting and the AI goes into all sorts of directions, fully understanding your voice, even when you go off topic, try to insult it, talk small talk, swear etc. People have been trying to break it and it really holds it's own, like Chat GTP but without the wait. Each character has a personality that feels solid. We're on the cusp of interesting times.
Great video, but I wish you'd tell people before it starts that this is for the paid version only, which is $295.00 in case anyone is wondering. Which is probably why it's "Not that popular"
Seriously, my first idea that came up to me was: huh, you really look like my mother when she eas young! I don't mean this assome sort of a cheap fancying. I was really in awe, miuth open . . . 😂 Weird . . . Buy anyway, go on explaining, sorry for the interruption
Why RUclipsrs always used perfect stock footage??? I’d like to see you dealing with real life footage, with blurry edges, motion blur, out of focus, and many defects that are part of any filmmaker’s day…..because of course these tools would work fine with perfect shots, but 99.9% of the industry have budgets under 1 million, and the problems I see every single day with the footage is very bad….until someone releases a tool able to handle all these situation, all tools are exactly the same. It’s up to the genius behind the mouse and not to the AI…..
Because it’s a tutorial? And we don’t have an access to the footage we can use without any copyright issues? And answering the other part of your question - how come the footage you work with is that bad? It has to be shot properly first and foremost.

Please, make sure that the title clearly shows when it is the paid Studio version of Davinci Resolve because it is misleading for us who cannot pay.

There’s a plan to dumb the term down to soften us when it really takes over. Majority of people won’t notice when it does.
Or already has 🤔
There are several types of AIs. I wrote an AI back in 1990.
