Saw The Bikeriders tonight and loved it. I really enjoyed the structure of the movie. Jodi Comer was brilliant. I was sucked into the whole environment and cared about the characters. Austin and Tom Hardy had great chemistry.
Hell yes, Coy! Went into this one not all that excited about it (even though that cast is bananas), and came out absolutely loving it. Palpable tone, memorable performances, and unorthodox story structure that I really dug. Felt like it was half a documentary, and half a story you'd hear at a bar. We need more films like this one!
😊 we all know the movie is Fantastic and I’m pretty sure it’s probably gonna be eligible for a few awards. But the most important part, congratulations Coy I am so glad on the announcement🎉
I absolutely love the immersion I feel when I watch Almost Famous. It's always been one of my favorites. You saying the immersion is similar to that and being dazed and confused definitely confirmed to me that I need to watch this movie. I'm so excited to see it on Thursday!
Thank for the review! Been waiting for this movie. Glad to hear you had a good time! Been a fan of Nichols sine Mud. Really excited to watch this weekend!
Would you compare Austin Butler’s performance to any of James Dean’s performances in his 3 films? I’ve been comparing Butler to Dean since Austin played Elvis 2 years ago. I believe Austin acts with the same level of on screen intensity and Old Hollywood style charisma that Dean had in the 1950’s in his era
You are so great with words . I actually got more intrested in this movie cause of your review. That says some thing. Since I def was engaged cause of Tom hardy being in it.
😊 oh yes, by the way, I noticed in the commercial for the film that it is by focus features and I personally have always enjoyed movies produced by that company so I definitely know going to do well as you’ve told us
Wow I haven’t heard of this one but is sounds great. This has been a packed year with gems, I’ll have to add this to my watchlist. As always thank you for your passion and dedication🤘🏽.
I’m excited to go see this now even more after hearing some of the recent reviews. Glad you loved it Coy. I do recommend if you loved this, I think you would enjoy Sons of Anarchy on Hulu/FX. Great under appreciated show that is Sopronos on motorcycles
@@CoyJandreau it was Bikeriders! So good and very manly movie. Had goodfellas vibes too. My biggest qualm was the nonlinear storytelling but still great. Well done with the review, and didn’t spoil anything at all
Nothing about this movie looks interesting to me, you make it sound somewhat more intriguing with your take on it. But really just here for the algorithm and to say congrats because I don't have twitter. Also not sure if it's because of the color of your shirt, but the lighting looks better than usual.
Looks very interesting. I'll take a look, for sure. Not in the cinema though, I think. 🤔 (By the way, if it's in the 60s, the war was Korea, from where they came back in that time. Vietnam was yet about to take place, aand it ended in the 70s, Forrest Gump's days... 😉 )
Vietnam war really started in the mid 60's so vets from Vietnam would have been returning. This movie covers from 1965 to the mid 70's . From all the reviews I have see it almost cover's a 10 year period. The Korean Was June 1950-July 1953. So that timeframe would have been too early for the return of vets in the Bikeriders. I knew guys that went to Vietnam and they could have returned anywhere from 1966 to 1972.
We love the warm lighting, king. And congrats on the engagement!
Cheaaa! Appreciate you noticing always trying to improve the vids and THANKS SO MUCH!
Thank you for the insightful take! It's one of my most anticipated movies because of the director and the great cast.
I'm so excited to watch bikeriders this weekend! Loved your review!
Thanks so much! hope you dig it as much as I did!

Yessss! Hope you love it too!

Austin is definitely old Hollywood. I look forward to his upcoming movies.
Once again very nice, interesting and captivating video, I agree with other comments that the lighting is nicer, keep up the great work!

My father was a California Hells Angel in the 1960's
I think you’d both get a looot out of this then

Thank you. Great review!
Congratulations on the engagement COy

Watch for the interaction between three different generations of Americans. Greatest. Silent. Boomer. Fascinating

I really liked this movie. Your review helped me understand why.
This is truly the highest praise I think one can give a review. Thanks so much.

Thank you!!!! Trying out some lighting tweaks! (And thanks for the algorithm and congrats man!) SO STOKED!
Goodfellas did not make me want to be a mobster
Also: Congrats on the egagement!
Thanks man!
How would you compare it to Lawless?
I liked lawless, I loved this. Both captivating, but this setting and world (and characters) captured me a bit more

Totally accurate on war timing I should have been more clear (film takes places mid 60s into mid 70s)

@@moorejazznow Sorry.. my mistake then. Thanks for clarifying. 😉
@@CoyJandreau Sorry, my bad. 😉
That's wrong.
I love Bronson
Exceptional movie
can't believe they killed koy on the boys😑
I love it
Expected much more after see all the trailers. Was disappointed from the beginning. Slow, no plot and just skimmed the surface of the characters
Bummed it didn’t work for ya
