Remember to the loyal Pinoy NBA Basketball fans since 80s: Before GMA-7 as the official Philippine broadcaster of the National Basketball Association (NBA) in the 1990s, that was the NBA games were official broadcaster by Far East Network (FEN) Philippines back in the 1980s was featured Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, Julius Erving, Moses Malone, Michael Jordan, then NBA Commissioner David Stern (now gone), Hakeem Olajuwon, Isiah Thomas, Karl Malone, John Stockton, Dominique Wilkins and others....
I was stationed at Clark AB from June 83’ to June 86’. I bought a UHF antenna from Clark and had it installed next to my in-laws’ local VHF antenna. Every weekend my wife, our kids and I would visit her parents and her siblings 27 miles away from Clark. During the NBA season, we would always enjoy watching the games with San Miguel beer of course. Those were definitely the good old times.
I remember this before the Golf War In 1991 then they pulled the plug when all the USA forces left the Philippines in September of 1991. 🙁 Then in 1992 SBN aired on UHF for test broadcast until we have cable from the U.S in October of 1992

Probably not because local networks of the Philippines took over the media now
If only both US and PH agreed to return the military bases here.
