My 65' Beetle is the same color " Bahama blue " with the exact same interior. Even came with it's original factory wheels and the 40 horse still running like new. I did need to replace the heater channels and floor pans though. Good luck with endeavors and enjoy.

So complete and original; I would just clean it and shine it up and preserve what’s there. Maybe treat the rust spots with rust converter.
Yes that’s my plan, it’s going to stay original all the way down to the 6volt system and bias ply tires!
