Don't matter how you pull a cable, the Thumb throttle is because of a fused wrist, with limited wrist motion.Hey at least I am out there riding and not quitting because of a limitation!!. Thx 4 watching!!
I figured it was an injury related issue. I’m considering getting this clutch set up due to the nerve damage in my left hand from a spinal injury/surgery. These bikes beat us to a pulp, but we keep coming back for more. We are mentally ill.
I learned the right riding position, and I don't use risers either. I ride on the ball of my feet, head over # plate elbows up ect..., but thats me. Some like risers, tall seat, lower pegs ect.., just ride and adapt or if its too uncomfortable then you tweak the riders triangle a little

Hey bud, what throttle an throttle cable did you use to convert it to a thumb throttle?
Interested in the answer to this!
Honda 400ex thumbthrottle assy. Yamaha 450 Raptor carburated, cable!!
You the man, thumb throttle on a dirt bike. I got them on all my dirt bikes
Looks fun. I’m riding a 400cc 4T but I’m tired of it’s weight. I may get one of these.
Great video and that's a good size yard
Those are really cool and Id like to get one for my bike. Did you install it yourself or a shop do it? Thanks, love your vids.

Is that a thumb throttle

Is it safe to upshift and downshift without pulling the clutch lever?

the 2020 125x comes with a thumb throttle? or did you change it? just curious
No Sr. It does not. I changed it due to my wrist injury in Iraq!, fixed wrist so had to improvise in order to be able to go and ride.thx 4 watching!!

Is the clutch pull stiffer than oem?
Not really, but you can always get a clutch helper wich it will make it very soft
