This was one great western. Glen Ford was a quick draw artist, along with Audie Murphy, Hugh Obrien, Will Hutchins. I don't know why Johnny Concho isn't available. That was another excellent western.
2:20 What the heck kind of fast draw is that? Seriously this was one heck of a great movie. Glenn Ford westerns always featured great gun action. He was probably the best actor who could handle a gun.
There are two great things about this film - #1, Andrew Previn's incredible score and #2, the best one liner of any western movie - No matter how fast you are, there's always somebody faster (from 976- CREOLEMAN)!
The Bind Man is Actor Walter Baldwin. He has been in a lot of bit parts. He was also in Hang um High and they hung him. It was the Drink that killed him.
Big fat old Broderick Crawford, looking like Fred Flintstone in a cowboy hat here, was supposedly a top gunman, very fast on the draw. Every time I re-watch this film, I just cannot stop laughing when Crawford is on screen. It is just so ridiculous to take him seriously as a ruthless gunman. In truth, I think the only thing "fast" that he could do would be eating a big bowl of ice cream!!
Haha I was the whole film with Broderick Crawford - he plays the villain very credible. Glenn Ford in the role of the good guy feels a little bit boring
One of my favorites along with Johnny Concho.
Broadrick Crawford was so fast with a gun, the California Highway Patrol hired him.
😂😂😂
And because he was so agile.
@@kensports721 Don't forget good lookin'.
@@deepcosmiclove Don't forget the olive oil voice..
One of the best movies ever ! I grew up under this scrutiny, I became a local Law Enforcement regular ! 🇺🇸🚔

@@tonyv2023Sammy was good and he was among the fastest. He, Ben Cooper and Audie Murphy were in the top group along with a couple of others.

Greatest Western and my All time favourite ,,,,,......

O filme é excelente. Um dos melhores do gênero. GREETINGS FROM 🇧🇷
So, is this is how they did USPSA back in the day?
Tarantino should have seen this before he got on westerns.
Named my boy kilby after this character.

That one guy is Jim Rockford's dad
It has been twenty years of prodding. Fallon? I will say nothing. Watch advertising behind Broderick Crawford is quite striking isn't it?
Walter Coy Walter Coy ... Gen. Pershing

Glenn Ford
Grub
Spoiler alert. There’s always someone faster and indeed there is at the end of the movie.
