Great video DeBock...My grandpa and uncle used to have a custom harvesting business that my grandpa started back in the 50s. My uncle took it over when he was old enough and i started going with them when i was 12 yrs old and ran a combine all summer. They had 6 new holland tr 96 combines with 30ft headers on them. I was able to go for a few yrs until my uncle passed away and we had to sell everything because my grandpa was to old to run the show then but i sure had fun! They used to run Gleaners before the new hollands and i remember them talking that the Gleaners were awesome machines! I now work for a farmer and we run 2 9760 deeres and they are good machines but i would love to run one of the new Gleaners. Anyways this was an awesome video and keep up the good work!

Great video!! Being a former custom harvest operator I can appreciate the long hours not just at harvest but getting everything just ready to go to harvest!

+James Loy (Pickens) This was actually our first job of the season, their first time running grain cart. We take it in stride, but you're right, could have left that part out!

Nice to see the R62 and R72 still being used with the two S series machines. We run an R62 and it does a great job.

We're going on 47 years of straight gleaners, can't beat the way they clean and save the grain. I'm not sure how it is in your area, but the parts and service is the downfall for us. Still worth the hassle tho!

How bad was ya'lls wheat crop downed outside of this field if you got hit by that hard rain, almost every near us took insurance money, same with cotton, couldn't get planted. Our wheat was just on the ground. ~West Texas

+TheFamilyFarm It was rough that first month, we got behind on all jobs for a couple months trying to get everybody all at once. Some did get zeroed out though.
