Today is Brandon Jennings' birthday. The young man is now twenty years old. This kid has been covered so extensively already it seems like he has damn near already had a decent career as a teenager. Happy b-day young money!
He played better in the summer league then most people expected. He's gonna be solid for this upcoming season.

this is so inspireing, he tried out for the summer league team, he didnt even play in college, he played overseas, originally from u.s, came back, made the summer league team, and now a starter in the NBA

I think he is the most fun player to watch in the NBA when he is on his game.
The key with Jennings is consistency and decision making we all know the talent he has is great that 55 point night wasn't a fluke. He put up solid numbers in his rookie campaign and his team is in the playoffs (too bad Bogut is hurt).

Come back at about the start of December when he is making an early season impact. His shot selection & overall floor game is straight. He will learn what he can and can not do in this league just like any other rookie. One thing we know is he is very capable. More strength will come and his shot is actually improved. He's committed to working on his J because he knows hella people are going to back off of him in fears of the blow by..He showed capability in summer league
Thanks for the video Pflaw. I'm a bucks fan and I was dyiing to see how this kid plays now becuase all the other videos were of him in high school. I can not wait for next season. Jennings. Redd, Alexander, Warrick, Bogut. That's what the starters should be unless they are playing teams with superstars LA or Cleveland then put in Bowen so he can guard LEbron/Kobe. I don't see how players like Flynn were drafted above him. Steal for the Bucks!
dude reminds me so much of a blend of Kenny Anderson, a crafty lefty who had mad handles and vision with Iverson quicks and swag. You are dead on though about this kids marketability and attraction. I would pay to see him and plan on checking the Bucks out when they come to my hometown of Indianapolis, I'm glad Jennings is in the central.

Furthermore, I disagree on his humility. Don't let the on-court swag and personality fool you. Brandon has greatly matured from his senior year at Oak Hill through his experience overseas. Check out the loads of interviews he did all through the draft process. He gets it, he knows his role as a pg and respects the game. At 19 the guy donated 50,000 dollars to earthquake victims in Italy.

A mixture of a young Jason Kidd but with more of a scorer/playmaker mentality and a mix of a young streetball version of Rafer Alston
He doesn't really need to get the equivalent assists to CP3. His scoring, i think, fits into the Bucks system. Those couple of assists (usually not more than 10) contemplates with the guys around him. So I think its aight.

Ya Evans is the truth, hard to stop once he picks up steam and goes downhill. That's why BJ repeatedly picked him up full court which resulted in 4 rips. Tyreke feasted on the line though, 17 of the 33 came off free throws. Meanwhile Jennings owned the 4th. His floor game killed anyone on the court, finding guys at the right time, hitting clutch shots. That was a classic PG vs SG there, and yes I consider Evans a SG
level of talent on offense makes a huge difference. a lot easier to shut down someone like kalin lucas than it is to do it to kobe.
