Yep, he made a brief but impactful impression when he appeared in-person in one of the short stories you read, Connor. And the way he refers to the ocean as a “Rosharan ocean” , implies that he has to specify which planet he’s on to the person he’s talking to, which is another side character you have also met in the same short story you already read.
I love words or radiance. Keeps me on my toes, what is going to happen next the words or the radiance. Also I love when Shallan said "We are the radiance now." and Zahel go "But you are not the words." and then Nazh go "What if the words and radiance was the friends we made along the way." And Roshar just stomlight archives all over them.
Roshar doesn't actually have dogs. Most of their animals are crab-like and/or have carapace to protect them from highstorms. You're thinking of an axehound, which is a large crustacean that acts like a dog.
Interesting thoughts! The entire rest of this book is simply bonkers in the best possible way :) As others have pointed out, you’ve met Nazh before! It was a memorable conversation, too!
Ah yes, Zahel, interesting fellow no doubt. A love interest for Kal!! Hmmm. Yeah that’s interesting you find book 1 shallans plot better - I think that’s fair, it’s certainly more intriguing. Her adventures in this one do….. expand however so hopefully that sparks it up :)
The note about getting the chest from the bottom of the ocean is interesting. The text on illustrations can be hard to read on ebook versions and I have never noticed that in all my reads. There is also stuff going on in the background and coincidence is often just unseen maneuvering
Think back to the name, Nazh. You’ve met him before. he made a brief but impactful impression when he appeared in-person in one of the short stories you read, Conor. Are there even dogs in the cosmere? Let me rephrase the question to Roshar because Vin does punch a dog in the face on scadrial. What were your feelings when Vin did that?
1. you met Nazh already, in secret history, kelsier met him.and his companion at a fire im the cognitive realm. They are the people writing the ars arcanum at the end of each book. they are just scholars. 2. shallan and Yasnah talk about them beeing from different orders (of the knights radiant) in the beginning of this book. so we do not know if yasnah was able to do lightweaving. Great video as always, enjoy reading!
With the shardblade that killed Shallan's mother, you've read some hints for who has it. I'm not going to spoil anything, but you might want to go back and look again for the clues.
Zahel. Ooh. Fun fun. Can’t wait till you figure him out.
You have actually met Nazh in one of the books you've read previously.

Watching this series really is like re-reading the books for the first time because you are asking the same questions as I was !
Glad you are enjoying

They're still Good Bois, though
I love Shallan's journey to building her Bridge Four. Thank you for your work sir.

I love the way you say SADEAS. I pronounce it Say-dee-as but I think the narrator pronounces it differently lol

When you say short stories… are you talking about another book?
@ yes. I’m talking about the novella, mistborn secret history, where nazh also shows up, but it seemed Conor forgot
Are there even dogs in the cosmere?

Apparently not, as people have said in the comments here, I am mistaking something else for a dog
there are dogs in the cosmere, but no on Roshar
but axehounds are basically dogs, so it doesn't really matter
(Correction?) Kaladin can't beat Meridas Amaram again, if he does fight and win it would be his first win against Amaram!
I just finished part 2 and I think Moash will get Elokhar killed. Idk why. I also feel that Shallan can turn bad any moment

great stuff! pay attention to Zahel! particularly how he talks. I bet you can figure this one out!
Yes I would like to second this comment. It may not become obvious but I'm sure you'll figure it out eventually.
Hahaha for me it was obvious with his description but also because I read THAT before this one lol

1st here !
2nd lol
