I saw this set live in 2017 here in sac and I brought two friends, they kind alike A7X and I'm of course a DIE HARD fan of them and I remember crying to so far away and revs part and they were like wtf haha and I'm like ya just don't get it
If you would have kept filming between the encore and the main show you would have heard me and some other people chanting "Sevenfold" we were like right behind you
god damn it why did the rev had to die. It's so sad that I won't be able to meet my drum idol. The only guy that got me into playing drums had died long ago and I can't ever meet him ever. I'm literally tearing up because of this.

I've seen a ton of indoor concerts w/ pyro.. Ozzy, Poison, Dio, Alice Cooper, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Motley (many times all w/ pyro), Cinderella, Kiss, etc.. I'm just saying, this stage set up for me is pretty weak compared to some of their past ones. They stage set for the "Nightmare" and "Hail" tours were incredible and both had pyro and large stage sets...Look at Maiden they know that the stage set is just as important as the music when it comes to live shows. That's why they still sell out every show and have for decades..
I don't think they really need all of that rockstar stuff. I preferred seeing them back before City of Evil came out because it was a lot more stripped back and can go to the front without a bulldozer to clear out the girls there just to see matts muscles. Those guns are what I am for as well ;) well, maybe not.. There doesn't need to be magic tricks to make it a great show. It can be cool to see it sometimes if it doesn't distract too much from the actual music. So to each their own. I just prefer clubs most of the time. Not going to the Superbowl.
