Your video started my Sunday perfectly. Technical issues with passenger side brake lamps that don't light up and driver side backup lamp. Also, the low beams should be illuminated on the top of the 2 configuration, instead of the shown lower one's. Otherwise, I just wish I had this Bonneville beauty in my parking spot. Love those wipers (no close-ups...) with their special linkages for precise windshield wiping coverage. PS: I hope that the people responsible for discontinuing the Pontiac brand, are now traveling by oxygen deprived mountain goats, in some remote places on this earth...
I noticed that about the stacked lights too, mentioned it above, but I think in some shit-hole countries they require the opposite, have seen it before.
Adjust the choke nice car check grounds on right tail lights switch to metal sockets common problem top headlights are the low beams switch them around nice car I have 65 grand prix same color
A very beautiful car. Re wire, no right brake lights or a left reverse light. You've got to let these cars warm up before driving. They're not like a F.I. car. I,ve always wanted one of these but never could find the right one. I hope you re did the valves to burn this crap gas we have today. Hope he got the wiring fixed so the car didn't catch fire like mine did.
Apparently in BumbleFuck Finland they use the lower stacked light as the low beam and the upper as the high, opposite of USA. Almost makes sense when you think about it.
This is almost just like the Bonneville my Mom owned in the 60's and 70's. Her's did not have the 8 lug wheels though, but wheel covers. She bought it from a Dealership named Porterfield Wilson in Detroit
These are great cars. Some of the prettiest GM made in the 60s. And if it had the 421 with 3x2 option, it was stout. Here in the vid, the brake lights are out on the passenger's side. Reverse light out on the driver's side. Those may be from loose grounds. Looks like it's been tapped in the back. Maybe that knocked something loose. Love the exterior color of it. What's the interior color? Is it an automatic? Is the shifter on the console if it's auto? Does it have the tach and the vacuum gauges?
If that is a 6 pack engine, he needs a fast idle cam on the choke on the center carb. That will solve the problem of not running while cold. Preferably a manual choke. They work the best. I had that on my 66 GTO 428 6 pack engine. And yes it was a transplant. The 389 just didn't have it.
Luka unonoveseicinque Wasn’t 65’ and 66’ practically the same with very minor changes you can see like the dashboard, 65’ had round gauges the 66’ had square. If you’re saying yours is better looking cause of color or convertible or anything cosmetic that’s an opinion which means some will agree with you and some won’t. Either way I’m sure yours is very nice looking
THANK YOU! I find burnt-out lights really annoying. This dork has the right brake light & the left reverse out. Jeez. What's worse is that movie-makers do it intentionally, sort of a long-standing tradition. Bugs the hell out of me.
I've got the same car! Drove it in high school and now I'm 50 years old she needs to be restored and enjoyed again! Thanks for the inspiration again .
One of the most beautiful cars of the sixties. Greetings from Sweden!
Hey ,just fix your grounds on the lights and your golden.Pretty cool ride ,love those Pontiacs
Beautiful car, sounds just like my 66 catalina that my grandpa left me. Almost the same color too. I miss that car
I miss my 65 Grand Prix 4-speed ...
My parents bought the same 66 Bonnie brand new -- same color. Always loved that car.

Lots of wiring and light problems but a VERY nice car. Clean!!
Gorgeous car, my Dad had one same color. Please fix backup and brake lights on this beauty and maybe a tune up
My parents in the US sold a 1966 Bonneville 4 door hardtop with a 421 to a man from Holland about 8 years ago. I wonder how it is doing.

YES!
sounds like the automatic choke is malfunctioning. ..a chronic issue
Looks like northern Canada or maybe Siberia.
nice video!
what tires are you using?
Doesn't sound like it is running too good? Or maybe it is the choke?
What I take for it
Right off the bat ! Fix the brake and reverse lights 😭😡 a little pride goes along way ! What was the point of bringing it out in the elements ,? 🤔

Some ignition problem ,or fuels problem
Why take it out in that weather.
Warm it up before moving
Fix the damn taillights
You don't want that, it has wiring probs.
I hate winter! So ugly
