- Here is a look at my attempt at making a foiled mageblood farmer via giga tank to avoid dying in the voided maps.

3:00 you could effectively DOUBLE your evasion rate by pickiung up flat chance to evade attacks.
The effective increase from going from 90% evasion to 95% evasion is 9 hits evaded before hit to 19 hits !!!! This is a BIG boost to your evasion if you can get it. Its a watchers eye mod!
How does this math work? i dont't get it
When you have 90% evasion, you have a 10% chance to get hit. When you have 95% evasion, you have a 5% chance to get hit. 5% is half of 10%, so you are half as likely to be hit in at 95% as you are at 90%. One in 20 attacks hits you instead of one in 10.@@Viniciusdias01
@@Viniciusdias01 90% chance to evade is equivalent to a 1/10 chance to be hit, so 9 of 10 hits would be evaded, on average. Same with 95% evade chance, 1/20 chance to be hit, so you'll evade 19 out of 20 hits, on average.
@@RoryJordaan you're forgetting that PoE uses entropic evasion, which means that your chance to dodge decreases after each successful dodge, until you are hit.

Redeemer Amulet can get +2% suppress amount btw.
You can also think about taking the Instinct notable especially if your suppress amount goes up because that 50 es will be a very large portion of most spells especially DOT
You could use Smite/Vaal Smite both to proc the poison cannot crit mastery and the 4th Oath of the Magi node "30% flask effect if you've hit an enemy recently".
And die to reflect like Ziz OMEGALUL
Dont think smite works with a sword so he would have to weapon swap which is super annoying

Why not grab the additional 30% flask effect from nature's concoction on the magi tree over Barkskin? along with the smite suggestion and going ancestral bond to eliminate the potential to kill your self on Ele reflect, so you smite which increased Trap dmg while also improving your defenses.
just wanna mention this edge case since you mentioned evading shaper slams, if you do uber pinnacle bosses, their slam skills (per poedb) gain "Can't be Evaded", "Enemies have 1000% reduced chance to Dodge Hits from this Skill" and "Enemy Block Chance reduced by 1000% against this Skill" when you set the boss level to 85, so defenses other than evasion, dodge and block would still be important when you fight ubers

For how much defense is invested into the clear isn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Toms of value in the approach imo!

Thanks to the Table that we have a CaptainLance making immortal builds again
with all the elusive effect on charms now you can get 39% chance to AVOID ALL damage from hits if you scale Elusive fully
which is lower over time so ... u can still easly died
I wouldnt rely on a pendulum style defense.
Elusive's avoid mechanic is an "over-cap" mechanic, like +1 max res is for resistances, but for mitigation. It's not like going from 39% to 0%, more like 85% mitigation back down to your 75% spell block, or 94%-90% for evasion. It's not enough alone to survive constantly but with 90% elemental resists, and a bunch of less damage taken mods like flasks, fortify, sap, enfeeble, temp chains, chill, debilitate, the chance of anything meaningful going through and chunking a high es pool to dead becomes extremely unlikely.
I wish I was this good at the game. Very impressive.

In terms of reasons for people going full lich mode quest for immortality I gotta say table is usually not the one.
armour stackers also really struggle with a lot of the mods from these maps - overwhelm 100% phys mitigation, 100% reduced aura effect, less damage per item equipped.
less damage per item equipped sounds like it bricks most builds not just armour stacker
@@---do2qd right but armour stackers need to keep most all of their equipment save maybe rings.
Many other builds don't have such tight gearing.
I don't think these maps have overwhelm 100% phys mitigation, unless you're talking about the low chance of an overwhelm expedition remnant that you have to complete. Also, I would say armor stackers deal better with the reduced aura effect than other builds, since they have so much increased aura effect, so the reduced amount doesn't affect them as much. With other builds, you're basically losing like 80% of your armor without determination since you don't have as much aura effect.

You can actually take a node further from tincture to empower two of your flasks and thus taking even less damage of two elements of your choice.
Would require him attacking - I don't think blade trap counts despite it being an attack using his weapon
Can throw in pretty much anything to proc, even default attack.

@@Evil_Arthas reminder that with his body armour empty, he's tight on sockets (though he had an open one in the vid, that'll likely change while minmaxing) - since it's a trap build, he will not have any atk speed (outside of the base 108% from ascendancy) to not use faster attacks, and at that point he's prob better off doing sth else about it - one recommendation from within the comment section I saw was smite for an additional aura you refresg every few seconds on top of the occasional vaal smite, but idk smite scaling so I won't comment on that.
So lay off the sarcastic tone oozing out, it's a constructive discussion between regular ppl who might forget sth like you and I, no need to smartpant our replies, right? Have a nice day.

You did mention it, but your first priority in making a tanky trickster should be forbidden jewels of born in the shadows. By far the best pure tank ascendancy node in the game.

idk if valdo's maps are affected by your atlas, but if they are there are two things to test:
Niko strats with the max res node on the atlas passive tree can get you the rest of the way to 90% res. Second thing is the less damage taken and more monster life keystone, might be worth on the very rippiest of maps.

Even though youre running mageblood, with a tincture you can run taste of hate over the saphire flask. Gives you perm uptime on it, and seriously helps with the physical damage you were talking about
he cant use those tincture stuff cuz it requires to "hit" which he doesnt on a trap build. thats why he doesnt have them specced

I have been making a very similar build, if you can get the recharge, and the prevent, then you can get 94% prevent damage.
So a 90% fire res + 94% prevent takes atziri flameblast from 119.000 fire damage to 877. 877 is feasible to get for regen alone.
Just as a illustrative example. Focus amulet can also get the +2 prevent suppressed spell damage from redeemer. That is +4. From 10% to 6% that is an improvement of 40% get the node that gives you 1% prevent per spell you have suppressed recently and you can reach 100% prevention, from 6 hits in the last 4 second. Is that shaper balls? Done! No more spell damage taken!
That is my idea.
Prevention from redeemer is extremely hard to get, I wish it was at least deterministic.
@@GE_Photon_Lord buy it on another amulet and use an awakenders orb to slam it on. +1 other influence mod you want like reserve. Or whatever you need.
So you can have 2 deterministic mods. 2/3 is great. And just hope for an open affix and craft the last mod. If that happened then congratulations 3/3 deterministic crafted amulet with 100% increased effect.
@@taiwanisacountry Yeah but this way is rng, most of the time you end up with 2 good mods and the rest garbage, that's my issue.
I wanted to just slam redeemer orb and always get it after certain stages of the craft, similar to harvest slams ( cuz you block certain mods and the only one left is the one you actually want ).
Rn the only way to get redeemer mod on a bis amulet is to craft like 10 amulets perfectly and then slam 10 times and 1 of them will be the one - type of deal.
@@GE_Photon_Lord the res is garbage? You can get 1 other mod. You could also hit something insane. This is the absolute best way to craft focused and simplex amulets if you need influenced mods.
@@taiwanisacountry I didnt notice you were talking about simplex amulets. I was thinking about a normal one. That's a good idea actually, you can only roll a few mods on that. Also what res? Getting res on the amulet slot is bad, the amulet should have full dmg or full dmg with es/this redeemer mod.
By other garbage mods I mean that awakening orbing is just a bad mechanic, you fuse 2 good mods and the rest of the mods are most likely trash, unless you get lucky. Now that you mentioned simplex amulets, it's another story ig, you'll have only 1 garbage mod as your third so it's not bad at all. I saw prevention and didnt read anything else in your first comment lol.

Some people quest for the power to kill everything before the enemy can move. Then there are those who plan to dodge nothing, hit every single enemy projectile with their face, and slowly whittle away at the enemy life, until the enemy eventually gives up and dies.
Imo the damage for a build this tanky is Amazing. I wonder if we could get close to it without such a steep investment. I'd be very interested in building something this tanky and exploring the Uber bosses.
I play this build for my starter and with only 200-300 ch investments in my first fight with eater i can survive all spells (i havent tested "fail bubble phase") very tanky, but u have little slow mapping like slow rf without explode ://
I always played with fast builds, but this although its slow i have big fun to play this build

Getting attacked by as many enemies as possible at once will tank your evasion because of the entropy. So I woundn't be quite sure about the trade off for procing the ES recharge.
could try a watchers eye with purity mods for between 10% to 36% phys taken as ele (im personally aiming to get a triple purity of elements one for phys as fire cold and lightning 12% each) and could try natural affinity small cluster for 10% less damage taken and 20% double damage chance, im also in search of creating something near immortal
May I ask what's the process off crafting those gloves?? Is it just Essence spaming by any chance??
does the top of the top hat effect the mods on these maps?
My dream in this game is to make a build that can tank everything too. without having to push for mirror tier in every slot items. I'll say that given that bloodnotch and defiance of destiny exist, sustain is not a problem for armor stackers but rather the balance between having enough max hp and tanking either phys or elemental damage...
Lately I've been playing in PoB with Fourth Vow and The Flawed Refuge combo but I can't get enough max hp to tank maven's memory and then enough dps to be half decent
@captainlance9 grasping vines might be an idea, its like 20%chance to deal double damage and 10%less damage taken if u stand still and "afk tanking everything" is kinda the build idea right ?
also you can throw mines, that trow blade traps and get the thing from sabo, thats 20%es regen full uptime, that would be 6k all the time with the 2k u already got + the 6k when suppressed.

If you arent using barkskin then why not take the top tincture node that gives 30% increased flask effect of the flasks next to it?
Can you try your build agains a 8 Essence tripple wisped possessed Essence mob for science ? Try to pick a bad mob base also.
I chase for immortality even on maps and bosses. I managed to get mageblood first time in my life. I would really like to ask you for info how to craft things. Probably I will be mostly interested in cheaper version. How you crafted armour? Is there a place I can look for it?
Ive been trying to make a ci build with divine flesh for a while now. Mind of the council, mom, incandescent heart, et cetera.

I think you could craft 8% phys taken as fire on the helmet at the crafting bench.
i mean heart stopper is pretty broken in terms of mitigation probs should take it if u just want to tank everything
About dying to degen on an armour stacker.... It does still suck even with 2k+ life regen, 90max res and 80 chaos 😂. Lethe shade up near shadow is one of the more underrated keystones for dot mitigation, never path up there without it.
You mentioned stacking energy shield by scaling evasion, how do you do this?
Is it possible to league start this and build up from the start or is it req 100div to make it even work

There is no chance in hell they would do this. Would it be nice? Yes. But ultimately it defeats the purpose of the game.

Are you better off changing the helm craft to 8% phys taken as fire? Not sure how much ES you lose over that.

Maxing spell suppress prevention and getting max res/triple ele flask seems very redundant because most spells are ele. Phys attacks that get pass your evade are the major threat, I dont think stacking more prevention is going to be worth the investment.
Also just something to mention. If you stack offering effect on witch with mistress of sacrifice you can have max block/spell block with no shield or any block passives. Combine that with spell dodge on a bow coc setup you end up with 75% to dodge then 75% to block with a possibility of max evade.
What about capping your max res to 90 with impossible escape (unwavering stance) for prismatic skin and and extra +1 max lightning. Since you don't need brink of death due to CI, it's a jewel socket and 2 passive point investment. Dunno if it's worth it though, just wanted to mention it.

Weird question… what happens if you use Ward and the flask that makes it so you don’t lose ward, instead of an EV/ES chestpiece. Would it be possible to reduce the flat damage enough to the point where big hits become little hits?
There is no ward body armor, only helm, boots and gloves

I once PoB'd a semi-immortal character that converted everything taken to a mix of fire and chaos, took CI and built huge ward. Max hit of 35k, infinite ehp to smaller hits. Here's the catch - a DoT pool of 2hp.
