Patches every where and too often...
Yeah, but at least we’re getting them they’re trying to fix up the system as fast as they could because it’s been in a pretty bad state because of the neglect that it’s gotten from the previous manager.
@floetic4213 previous managers and administrations...Gov Patrick asked legislators to invest a long time ago, they kicked the can down the road and here we are
watch people complain when thius shuttle begins mind you this is being accnouned over a month and some change before it happens people want the repairs made then when the diversion occurs will startbwhining and crying like a bunch of babies yeah i'm already cooking the complainers we all know it's coming
Just because it was announced it does not make it OK.
The MBTA is corrupt from head to toe. Just take a look at it "work completed" pages and you will find out the red line has been shut down for the same reason since 2020. Change tacks,remove speed restrictions and replace signals etc.
Green line same thing in fact there is un upcoming closure . Same story here since at least Park to BC closed up to 4 week once although see utility vehicles moving up and down T personnel all walking up and down comm ave 24/7. Not even sure what they did But they left new tracks along the old ones and grass was growing on it just walk up and down Comm Ave and you'll see that.
So people are frustrated by the never ending projects and the inconvenience.
Eg. Train starts at 5:15 from Alewife but the shuttles start at the same time not earlier. So buses are late to make connections.
But maybe non working welfare collecting bums just think it is OK as long as it's been announced and freeeeeee
Boston is trash now
