What I like about this reboot is that Venom is not a manipulative parasite, he is quite honestly the best friend you could ask for, he is by your side, and for an alien goo that has 0 concept of anything like culture, community, and kindness, he does his best, and his best is not bad.
Except after watching this movie and how everything else depicts him. I came to realize that venom never always been fully evil. He likes humans and being spiderman was his only opportunity to help people but he thought killing humans that commit crimes is right. Spiderman and him never got to expressed that and when venom was removed, he's filled with anger and he's hurt.
My point is venoms character in many things he clearly has emotions and doesn't know how to control his anger and if spiderman and him talked it out he wouldn't had gotten rageful and wanted revenge.
Venom may be abusive or controlling but he actually cares about humans and thinks bad should die. Which is very hard for him to see as he's not human. I can't recall ever when him or spiderman could've just spoken.
Venom is a great friend and he has emotions and is just hard to understand and if he has misunderstandings, it's hard for him to express it.
Venom is one of the unique characters In fiction. Especially that writers made it that as a symbiote they still have feelings and venom likes humans and he has a hard time dealing with anger.
@@Devastator5487 Thinking about this, even though this is a variation of Venom that got the chance to become closer to humans, you still are right. In instances like Insomniac Venom is an alien sent to assimilate the planet into the kingdom of darkness for Knull. But as with Insomniac Venom, he has always had the emotions, like how Venom HATED being called a "thing".
@@KannaKandy yeah I loved this movie because he is just misunderstood and as an alien and he doesn't exactly know how to control his emotions as humans can and it's amazing details the writers added to show how he wants to be viewed as a friend and not parasites or things to treat him as if he's just a tool. I love how "parasite" is a trigger word.
One of the things I've also noticed about venom in so many different media is he typically always has that brute or strong appearance and I truly believe Venom cares about innocent people so he doesn't become all stretchy like Carnage as he thinks he might hurt innocents.
As a huge Venom fan is Spiderman 2 good? I've heard rumors that they cut a lot of venom content from the game and I played the first one and I already knew who the evil Venom would be after he's out for revenge as the first game literally had a cliff hanger at the end.
I feel the game was very popular and quickly stopped being talked about.
@@Devastator5487 I actually just finished playing Spider-Man 2, and I can confidently say that that venom is AMAZING. I won't spoil too much about him, but he does make a pretty smexy return to form, in both character and design. And his conflict in the story is perfection. Spider-Man 2 is not gonna win game of the year, for sure, but it's MY game of the year. ✨
@@KannaKandy alright thanks! The game I felt was overly advertised before it came out and not much as a surprise. I knew who venom would be and everyone was debating on who he would be as he's an antagonist against Spiderman.
I knew Kraven was gonna be in it and all I have thought about is he's in it as he's hunting Spiderman when he has Venom.
I'm waiting until the price comes down as it's very pricey but thanks! I don't listen to all these rumors, I was concerned a bunch of Venom content was cut from the game.

I can’t argue with people who don’t like the movie, but this scene is something I didn’t know I needed, and am so glad I have it. These movies are fun. Guilty pleasures for sure.
Same! It wasn't about the action in this movie. I loved that they tried to shine light on his personality and venom character and many seem to not enjoy that as venom is always misunderstood and usually if evil is just struggling to control his emotions as he's usually extremely angry at spiderman from the host removal or idk.

You know, most hero/protagonist always have emotional manipulator trait (i give you 2 case - recca (flame of recca) who always compared his life with his villains+flat out rejected their point of view, naruto - same like recca)
For mature adults, we still side with the heroes despite understanding the villains. Cool motive, still a murder you know.

If only they kept this type of child like behaviour for venom where he comes across as sweet and caring but made it an r rated film, could of had cassidy as an actual psycho and more muderous and venom eating people and doing actual savage things which woukd have made scenes like this stand out more, i legitimately get why they wont for ticket sales and what not but with streaming services and many of there audience grown from when they started it would really serve them well, deadpool and blade being the examples of successful films in r rated

I would like to have a female version of venom and is that attentive, supportive, and sensible of the important stuff. But i expect her to clean if she's cooking/made a mess in my kitchen and plus the female version or alternatives are more sensible and responsible then male venom but then again though i would have both since one can be there for moral and emotional support and the other one can be there for exciting moments

I don’t know why but that small detail of Venom gently closing the mailbox door instead of slamming it or leaving it open given his destructive tendencies seems oddly wholesome to me, apart from the whole cooking breakfast for Eddie.
