  • Update. after building this, it was decided to build another instead of the tree that was scheduled. so keep watching for updates and a better. longer video, for a taller twist.
I've built twisted piers, twisted arches, spiral piers but never before a tapered twist and I've never seen one. Could this be the first ever? I have another one to start soon, I'll film it better.
I have my playlist on most of the time and RUclips don't seem to like that.
Nevertheless I've uploaded this to let you see what I do...
we have a few original projects coming up soon.

It's amazing how many bricklaying channels there are on RUclips that post repetitive site work house bashing videos and hardly any of them have bothered to comment on this masterpiece, you are a master at your craft incredible 🔥👌

It's sad to think that the only thing that matters these days is profit and not skill - and that only a few people appreciate this - the rest are content to live in there square cages and waste there life & energy watching mindless TV programs - I hope whoever you built this for appreciates it and it is not just used as a rich fasion statement - Quality content & skill - thanks for showing this

Unfortunately dollars and cents inspires them to "value engineer" out masonry, not add it. It's such a shame. At least that is how it goes in my rust belt area of the US. Even nice places here don't get anything like this. Everything is fake engineered garbage with an expiration date.

Rob. I take it that this is a functioning fireplace or will be, do you go in after it is built and install firebrick! Or is it incorporated in the interior brickwork, also you have the flue in the centre how do you lock it into your brickwork and do you have a damper to control the fire.
As always I am nosy but I admire your craft and you as a craftsman beautiful workmanship the best.
