I’ve been playing for nine months now and love Cuban music (even before I married my Cuban hubby) and really love how patiently you worked through this lesson. I will master this . It will teach me so many new skills in just this one song. Thank you so much. I really appreciate you taking the time to put such a thorough lesson together.
Thanks for this video. You put this song on my short list to do well. I think Cuban and Bossa Nova are natural styles for the ukulele, which I dearly love. I was the pianist in stage band in eighth grade (about 50 years ago!), and Guantanamera was one of the most fun songs we did. Ah, memories...
Dude, thank you so much! Normally, I skip through these videos because they’re pretty slow, but your style of teaching was so good/entertaining I ended up sticking through the whole thing!
My Papa used to sing & dance this piece to me & my siblings when we were small... This is a very special song which brought back so many happy memories even though none of us understand the lyrics or can sing it correctly at all 😁😂😁!!! I love this series & your great teaching! So fun & so much to learn! Best!!! 💟 👏 👏 👏 👏👏👏 👏 👏 👏👏
Is there a part 2 that I cannot find for some reason? I really like the easy-going style of teaching that says the reasoning behind what you are doing.

I'm wondering if there was a part 2 you're referring to :) I can't find it 🙈

Please make a dot of the 'a'? I loooove this ritme and the way you explain it, but i find the 'a' still a bit confusing. B)
