We are on our second GD. my husband had a Solitude 5th wheel when I met him. We sold it when bought a house and knew it wouldn't work for a family. Now we rock a 21BHE. We love it overall - with a few pinch points. I've been in a Brinkely at an RV show and was super impressed. Will definitely be checking whats on the market for our next rig. We have owned the 21BHE for about a year an a half (and of course they put out a 22BHE which would have been SUPER nice for our situation - but trying to hold out a little longer to see what we really need and if we want to go more "full time but not selling the house" Cheers and happy trails!

We ended up buying a GD Influence 2803RL as you may have seen and are very happy with it. Love your channel, the 5th wheel you chose is a really nice and solid coach. When we were researching a unit we considered Grand Design, Keystone and Brinkley and for us hands down chose to go with a Brinkley.
Love your content. We have owned 2 GD in the last 6 years. 2019 - 2250RK and 2022 - 2670MK. We loved them but have just picked up our Brinkley Z2900 and we aren't looking back. Love it.

No! We did what we said we wouldn’t do. We bought it from JR Motors. They said they were taking delivery of an Influence 2903RL. We put $1,000 deposit to have first rights to buying it once it came in. We loved it when we first saw it and bought it that day. We had a peek of another when we were in California. That one had a king bed and hated it. That was when we were with our grandson Noah.
I have seen Brinkleys at an RV show and was really impressed, but I don’t think I will be able to convince my husband to upgrade to a Brinkley. We will continue to investigate GD. I hope you continue to enjoy your new rig.😊

Our Influence has a huge food pantry plus stainless sink in the bathroom vs plastic in the Brinkley. The gold was a little too much for us. However, I’m glad you like the Brinkley. The important thing is to get out there and see this beautiful country 😍

Hello Leonard, I have not done that yet. I need to unhook the trailer at a CatScale I’m guessing about 2,600. The trailer hooked up was 11,200 Lbs Truck and trailer weight was 22,000lbs fully loaded. I will let you know when I feel comfortable at leaving my rig in the parking lot.

Seems like when you got in the Brinkley you were speechless. Were looking at fifth wheels and with the issues Grand Design has were ruling them out for now. I’ve been following y’all for awhile and you seem to have good luck with your rig so makes me reconsider them. My issue with Brinkley is there’s no half bath models.
Hi Walter, personally I think it’s the RV industry in whole. Not just Grand Design. We did the video to show everyone the difference. The Influence 2903RL was not out yet. The differences between Brinkley and Grand Design are huge! We thought everyone might see the difference and see why we went with Grand Design. This is our second Grand Design and I can tell you we love ours! We have been over 3,000 miles in the new rig and went over 33,000 in the last one. There is nothing that comes close for us.
