I do not want Pulisic to go back to the Prem. I know he needs to do what’s best for his personal life, but it seems like Milan is a great fit for him and he’s thriving there.

Its also a lot easier than the PL and he’s one of Milans best players, they’re not playing great right now. He could end up back in the pl being a bench player.

@@1972dsrai I wouldn’t say Serie A is easier than the Prem, maybe a little less physical. Serie A in my opinion is the best league in the world in terms of competition. And personally I would never trade Ac Milan for Man United, that club is cursed.

@@1972dsraiYou're wrong, Serie A in fact may be the hardest league with the most competitive clubs. They just know how to defend there. English football presents other kind of difficulties like faster pacing. In Italy small teams know how to stay closed at the back

The real question is, can they stay in the champions league. He definitely has a longer leash where he's at. So he won't be benched for having down games at Millan like he could at a top epl team.

Exactly. He’s playing regularly which probably won’t be the case at any of the top pl sides. Maybe West Ham or Utd, but even there he’s not guaranteed.

The problem with any premier league team is that unless you are in the current big three, clubs change coaches like underwear, and it’s easy to get caught with changing systems and coaches who want their own players, etc.
CP would be much better off waiting until after a successful World Cup and then you can call your own shots and make huge coin.

Why mess with a good thing? Even if you want to condescend to him and go with a "he found his level" take, he is still improving and developing. He is more productive this season than he was in the last season - we are seeing new aspects to his game like left footed finishing and accurate set piece assists.
And they are in champions leage this year vs. crashing out and having a lackluster europa run last year. He has 3 goals in 5 champions league games so far - these are huge resume builders. They've won 3 champions league games in a row and are in a great position for an automatic qualification to the next round. That gives you multiple bites at the apple to play some of the best teams in the world on one of the highest stages.
I guess what I am saying is, sure Serie A has some minnows... but he is still finding ways to challenge himself and improve. I don't think he is getting complacent or stagnating at all by being in Italy, it is actually the opposite. You leave? You can't guarantee anything after that.

Pulisic should stay and be a 25+ goal contributor at least until the 2030 World Cup. The Prem is not forgiving to players like him and has already not worked for him. Pulisic could become a legend or at least an iconic player if he is able to maintain this production for 7 seasons at a legendary club.

As a Liverpool I don’t want to see him joining us. Playing in Italy for an average Milan in a league where they’re not playing great is not the same as the PL and he was inconsistent at best at Chelsea. He’s a decent player, but he’s not improving us. Maybe worth a gamble for Utd or WH.

Everyone here is wrong. Remember Chelsea is known to mismanage their players. They had Kevin Debryner and Mo Salah and look at them now. They are the best in their respective positions. EPL for Pulisic he has some unfinished business there and he knows it. He will go and like the two I just mentioned, he will excel to a great level. The only other teams to leave for would be Real Madrid where he would not start, well maybe because Mbappé is overrated and not doing well in a league where he gets no favoritism. Barcelona, he would start. All in all, a Liverpool, Man u or Arsenal come asking, hard press to say no.

Of all USMNT players, CP has learned that money can't buy happiness. Starting at Milan and CL matches count more right now. Maybe after the next WC he could reconsider. But he's been healthy in Italy whereas in England he was not. Blame it on the schedule, the officiating, the physical grind. But going back to England would tempt fate.

@SmilingFishingRod-eb8cl "not good enough" is rarely the issue. Was that the case for KDB and Salah their first go round? Those two are world class players yet they were "not good enough"? That's a simple explanation for complicated club/country/injury/manager playing preferences.
