I LOVVVVVVEEEE the background music you created for this chilling tale, it really captures the mood, that and you're great narration. Cheers from a fan.
I cant believe that I had missed this story twice while listening to the mythos collection! You and Jen have very soothing voices however so it is easy to lull me to slumber. Just means I need to listen a few more dozen times. *edit* typo
Finally got around to listening to this. It's weird. I was cleaning the bathroom to my new place. The seriously amount I had to use started to severely irritate my eyes. Creepy.

I really liked this one. It's a nice blend of psychological and physical horror.
This is maybe my favorite mythos tale ever. So good! Thanks.

Wonderful! I love stories like these that are kind of obscure.

Creepy with a Lovecraftian flair. As always Ian you bring the story to life with depth and zest. Thank you!
Terrific reading! Been revisiting the Kuttner mythos stories tonight. If only more writers added to the lovecraft realm. Still, these are great.
Awesome. Thanks Ian!
Thanks glad to see you back at it. You had me worried for awhile.
We haven't been away Charles! Thanks, either way!
Thank you. I'm fond of Henry Kuttner.
The Book of IOD is a tome of the expanded Cthulhu Mythos, and nice video as always!!!!!!! God Bless!!!!!!!
What a gem!! Thank you very much!!
Great story! I always liked this one. When I saw the title I was like, "oh yeah".
Denton is awesome
I loved this story! Well done 👏
I really dig this story !!!
Fantastic story!
I think that's my new favourite
A new favorite! I shall have to find more by this author.
Thank you.
I had missed this one! listening now and really enjoying it, thanks for another gripping reading :)
Wow, Ian just Wow.
where we're going you do not need eyes to see
Very well told, perhaps the definitive transference of the bells from eyes to ears. Everyone needs eyes, or DO we.
WOW ... THAT WAS AWESOME ! :-)
There used to be a one eyed toad that lived next my garage. We called him Mike Wazowski.
Cracking tale 😎
What a cool and unusual story! The magick vibration part is right on too, I wonder if it was brought on by migraines...god, I hope not!
Finally got around to listening to this. It's weird. I was cleaning the bathroom to my new place. The seriously amount I had to use started to severely irritate my eyes. Creepy.
Great job!
Good use of audio.
'Cosmic Abominations ' I love this stuff :-)
BRILLIANT 😮THANKS
Funny, I used to live in an apartment complex called Black Gaping Hollows...8:45
My eyes feel itchy...
Yes, in the world of exsistence three rules apply: VIBRATION, VIBRATION, VIBRATION!
🙂
More Kuttner please!
For sure!
Only a blind fool would dislike such a work & it’s reading...
This and hounds of tindalos are my favorite mythos stories
Good story for allergy season.
Was this re-uploaded? I remember trying to find it on your channel awhile ago for reference but I didn't see it anywhere.
It was private for a while due to the possibility it might not have been in the public domain... it appears however, that it is!
@@HorrorBabble Nice, good to know.
This seems very similar to Lovecrafts work
Jeffrey Stockham kuttner was part of Lovecraft's inner circle. This was meant to be part of the mythos cycle.
rhetoricpiggy Interesting
Damn it! Now my eyes are itching!
This is one WEIRD story. The toad rubbing its own eyes out against a stone and disappearing in a trail of blood and slime...
This is going to be Good.
Poor old Arthur, he's with Warren now 😢
Those bells rung the Earth.
Maybe WW2 was precipitated by the Bells...after all this was published in '39...
Reminds me in many ways of Bloodborne
Which god is he referring to when says Jove's Thunderbolts
Zeus likely. The Romans called him Jupiter, and English speakers tend to shorten it to Jove.
@@justafallperson2108 thanks
i'd love to hear you people reading The Heart of Darkness. just sayin'.
guilleDCF what do you mean, “you people”??? Lol
i mean, ian and/or jennifer
Any mention of toads is a giveway 🙃😉😀
