So, they established that Tony Khan has the ability to fire people for assaulting other people. Like, they introduced that as part of this storyline. That's not something I'm injecting into somewhere that it doesn't belong. They intentionally aired the footage that led to Punk being fired as part of this storyline. But he's not going to fire Jungle Boy? Why call attention to TK having the ability to fire someone and then expect people to forget that he has that ability when it's no longer convenient to the story?
Maybe they'll justify it? I mean I have my doubts but still

Plus I've seen a lot of people having a issue with the new champion being put into a match with a jobber while Mox main event for another company's title. Kinda did make the AEW title seem secondary

I was expecting more than a match for Swerve, but I thought the ending was hilarious. Other than the audio I had no problems with the show at all.

I want to like the angle. I appreciate that they're trying something so I'll see where it goes but imo not executed the greatest. The rest of the show was mid to bad for me. Random match for Swerve, terrible Jericho promo and im sick to death of Mercedes

I didn't watch this Dynamite yet, but the Jericho segment sounds like "The Learning Tree" is going to be a THIRD AEW stable based around people jobbing for Jericho
I am not an AEW hater I genuinely want it to be better than wwe but I HATED this angle, I never want to see Tony taking Bumps especially when I can’t even tell who is tougher between Perry and khan they are both pip squeaks period, and in the moment I knew 1 million percent that they were going to attack him, zero surprise!!!

I mean, given how Kenny has been acting in interviews lately, it seems that’s the direction the story is going.
It does say a lot about Tony Khan that he'd give a bigger spotlight to the IWGP title than his own company's world title, then puts himself in the main event segment

Dude no offense but the angle sucked. Not to mention it's an old McMahon/Austin, Bischoff/NWO angle
I liked it. It wasn't a huge impact. Didn't pop for the Stone Cold/McMahon start either. It was actually probably never was one of my favorites. But, I like how TK is leaning into this and giving Perry a chance to become a name. It will be interesting to see where it goes. Especially since he has the Bucks. Whether you like them or not, they are good as heels.

I called the khan assault when they said JP would meet Tk in the ring, i wasnt a fan of the execution of the angle but im still intrigued to see where it goes. And more importantly how they keep their jobs.. TK making his encounter with Punk and fearing for his life TV continuity, Yes i get its Apples to Oranges, but since they already went as far as showing the Footage, they can certainly pull from the encounter to drive story they're telling..
Well next week swerve Strickling will get his moment along with his main rival for next ppv will see who’s gonna step up I hope it’s someone we never thought of I wouldn’t mind Keith Lee as heel with Don callous family he needs a heel mouth piece all eyes will be watching

I think it is a small factor there is also the fact that the world champ gets shoved to the side completely randomly facing Fletcher. Didn't get to even have a promo after making history. And to some the angle with Khan can look a bit goofy but I'm still interested personally to see where it goes.
I just can’t get into another “villainous stable attacks promoter” angle for the millionth time in pro wrestling. Dynamite was solid up until that last segment. It’s a troupe that needs to be retired.

Also, I have a MAJOR SCOOP for you guys. After the infamous "footage," but before Dynasty, I sent an email to AEW's email, basically expressing what I felt needed to change, and giving a few booking ideas. As it turns out, like 80% of AEW programming has played out almost word for word like my email since then. While I did not receive a direct response from AEW, it does feel like they read it. I still have that email, the date it was sent, and I am willing to send it it you YOU, yes YOU, Steve and Larson! Just give me a public email and I will share with the class.
