The other day I was looking up vegan food blogs (I watch a lot of vegan meal ideas on YT) and saw Oh She Glows, and in my mind I sang "Out here looking like a vegan, oh she glows, wanna know my secrets and my antidotes AH" only for it to hit me a day or two later -this song being stuck in my head- that it wasn't a coincidence lol I had to Google if she was vegan and I saw some tweet from her saying she was trying again - something like that.

Lolidong YESSSS! Was just thinking this! I’m 37 and have developed astigmatism this year due to autoimmune disease. I’m in glasses for the first time and have to wear them constantly. I was a little self conscious till now. Thank you my Qveen!
Imagine being a person with a cane or a wheelchair. We have almost no representation.
Glasses reflect light which is generally bad for filming and stage performances. Plenty of people with poor vision wear contacts for exactly this reason.
Look at all those chickens - so true, sadly. I think there is a bigger effort in media these days to represent all abilities. Lots of shows and movies include and feature autistic lives. Fear the Walking Dead features a wheelchair-bound character, and The Walking Dead features two deaf/hard-of-hearing characters. And one of the featurettes of The Walking Dead focuses on a character with severe OCD, and in this last season of TWD they include effects of PTSD as a major plot line. At least between those two shows, there is better representation. I’m sure there are more out there. I don’t watch much TV besides TWD stuff and RUclips.
