In 2016, while waiting for a prebuilt unit (Inergy Apex), I discovered Will Prowse. I used his advice on building my own "power cart." lithium type batteries were prohibitively expensive, so 4 - 260ah 6v AGM in series/parallel were mated as power cell (6.2kw) A Renogy 2000w pure sine wave inverter/charger. An Epever 40amp solar controller, BT50 monitor, with two strings of 400 watts PV panels. Appropriately sized wire, circuit breakers, and fuses to complete the build. It weighs 280lbs on an 800lb rated "Gorilla" cart. AND IT ALL WORKS. I finally got all the Inergy components in 2022.
Yours is certainly a sharp unit and EASILY a DIY

Never saw your video when I built mine on my channel, but You have to admit that the cart power system is 40% less cost than a actual power station like a Ecoflow or Jackery and ours is serviceable. Mine is 660AH with 3000 watts and lots more options and functions.

It feels like forever ago I built that. Time really flies when you're having fun. I'll have to look up your video and give it a watch. 👍

Thursday I'm ordering redodo 100ah and a charger with a battery box. I like to build this but in a tool box instead. I live on the second floor so need a easy way up and down. Nice job

Love the cart! The only thing I would try to upgrade is the casters. Try finding something so you can roll it in dirt or grass. Other than that.... Perfect!

Very quick and easy. I've been wanting to do this build for a while now I just had to get the battery reviews out of the way.
Thank you for watching I'm glad you enjoyed it 🙂

Good caught. I could have grounded to the chassis like a mobile vehicle. That's smart.

Subbed and Liked this excellent video, thanks! I am very interested in the voltage relay switch. Looked at the affiliate link you provided to find the unit. I see some circuit diagrams on the product images, but wondered if you would consider doing a short video on exactly how you wired that up. I am also seriously considering that same inverter you used and the same charger so that I would basically be replicating your setup for my built-in RV solar LFP system. PS. If you can't do a video, then some detailed explanation of all your electrical connections to and from that voltmeter relay switch would be VERY much appreciated! Many thanks! Barry.

I'm a little busy to make a video right now but keep a eye on my channel.
The wiring diagram is pretty good.

Is there a way i can install a receiving receptacle that uses tesla charge stations ports?
Would be cool if i can charge this at EV charge stations, while im on the road.

Is this same as some commercial versions of power wall but more flexibility?

    • @Roll2Videos

DIY set up, You'd see this in a RV or camper trailer etc... It is flexible because you can size everything to your needs.
