    Good Sunday morning Omniel:
Thanks for sharing another interesting video with us this morning. YES, I did purchase some of the Good Brothers Strawberry Maceration... definitely NOT my cup of tea, so to speak. I tried it as Pour-over, Americano, straight Espresso and in whole milk Lattes (both with and without just a bit of brown sugar). I actually ended up giving the last of my beans to a friend that tends to enjoy these types of coffee.
I'm currently enjoying my first pour-over taste of September's Buttercream - Colombia Diego Bermudez / Light-Medium with impressions of Cardamom, Cinnamon, Honey, Pistachio, and Buttercream Frosting. I used a 1:16 ratio - 18 grams ground beans / 288 grams distilled water mixed with Lotus Brew Water using the Rao/Perger recipe. I used my 1Zpresso ZP6 at setting 6.5 using my Orea Brewer. Water @ 210 F - 50 gram bloom / 45 sec. followed by an 88 gram circular pour and a rather aggressive swirl. I finished with two 75 gram pours using a circular pattern and only a slight swirl to level the bed after each pour. Total time was approximately 3:20 FYI - This coffee didn't have a strong aroma to me (but my nose isn't all that refined) and I found it rather tasty. I plan to try it as an Espresso after finishing these comments.
I sincerely appreciate kinds words, but you give me way too much credit as to my coffee knowledge, etc. I'm simply one more coffee lover out there that likes to try different coffees, made using a variety of different methods.
Thanks once again for this weeks sharing and I hope you enjoy a wonderful weekend.
    Kerry

Good morning Kerry. I had a feeling that it would be a bit much for you. I think you normally go for a bit lighter and cleaner coffee's, than me. I know you have been hooked on the stuff from September, I don't blame you, the one's I've tried have been excellent. The Red Plum from them is probably my second favorite coffee EVER!! By the way, I met Kyle in person at the show in Chicago. I will have a lot more on that in future videos. Take care my friend, and have a wonderful week ahead. 🤗

@kerrycoyle8930 oh by the way, as far as giving you too much credit, NOT AT ALL, you definitely know what you're talking about, and I really appreciate all the input you have provided for me, and our little community here. Thank you 🙏

Kerry, I am also enjoying Diego Bermudez. Comparing Manhattan and DAK variants and I just love the balance. The processed coffee is challanging to roast to preserve the balance and they do it perfectly. Thank you for your recipe, I will try it your way ;)

I tried Kyle's Coffee shortly after he opened his roastery and have really enjoyed the vast majority of every bag I've purchased from September.

Omniel, my friend, I sense a hint of regret regarding your purchase of the Duo. Have you considered upgrading to something superior that combines both grinders into a single unit? As for the video, I really enjoyed how the long introduction built momentum-it was so vivid, I could almost smell the coffee! I appreciate the different brewing techniques you demonstrated. Sometimes, when I have friends over, we brew each coffee using a different method and then all try to pick the best one. The winning technique, statistically, is the 'blooming espresso'-where you preinfuse with 4-6 bars, halt the flow completely, then at 30 seconds, increase to 9 bars, and taper down to 6 bars after 3-5 seconds, just like you showed in this video

Hello Brent. This coffee was definitely a fun one. For anyone wanting to try something way different, this one will get the job done, for sure 😅. I tried, and recorded a video, as to a coffee that I would love for you to try. I wonder what you would do with that one. More on that subject on an upcoming video. Hopefully you will see it, I actually mention it on the video. Take care bud, and have a wonderful week ahead.

Another great video!!! Thanks for the shout out, Lol! I definitely agree that phones are getting so good that they're slowly changing the camera business altogether. Your phone is doing a fantastic job! What type of phone is it? I'd love to try some of that strawberry coffee I have never tried anything like that before. Thanks so much for sharing! ~ London

This is actually a light roast. I got this coffee and complained to good brothers. It states that this is a light roast. They got back to me and stated that the raw beans are much darker than usual green beans and after the roasting they just look darker but they assured me that this is actually a light roast.

      Hello Kyller.
Nice to see you in the comments. That makes a lot of sense, and kind of explains the high acidity. This coffee is probably not for everyone, but it is interesting. Thank you for the information, and have a wonderful day.
