This video really helped me. I used to play soccer at a community centre, but i was really slow and I couldn't move fast enough. Also I hogged the ball, so during the quarantine I did these excercises a lot and now that I returned to the community centre I am now faster and I pass the ball frequently. Thank you Will John!

Well this is for footballers. If you are jogging you do not really need this. Just focus on your mechanics and breathing and you are golden as long as you just run consistently
This is self taught so you might not wanna listen to this much but what i came up with is that basically, when running, all that matters is speed, that means you should avoid jumping much so you dont waste seconds on the air, and try to use your hands to boost yourself horizontally
The only defect i find when running like this is that i feel like i have been hit by a bullet in the stomach after running and that i cant breathe for like a bit of time

I’m female in the middle school. I’ve been the slowest in my class ever since 4th grade. I never really worked out at all but I finally decided to work on my running. I can’t run 440 yards without struggling for breath. My time is about 2:07. I walked about 20 seconds I think as I couldn’t possibly run anymore. Now I am using these methods daily to improve. Will update frequently :)

Nice tips!
1. But other good ones are 20 minutes before your race drink a lot of water then 15 minutes after drink a bit more.
2. Another great one is if you are using blocks for a short distance race, make sure your back leg and you upper body are all in line.
3. Now I no this tip sounds stupid but if you say good luck to your competitives you feel great so your just really happy and you show great sportsman ship so your not as scared to race (trust me this works if your in the right mindset).
4. Another tip for blocks is when you do push off them make sure you go up kind of like a plane and slowly go up to an upright position but a bit forward.
5. Wear tight shoes (e.g running spikes, waffles or anything like that) if you are able to.
6. Before you start your race think about how you are going to look when you do it ( try see if you leg and upper body are straight if not focuse on that)
7. If you can see the finish line straight in front of you look at it the whole time you run.
8. Push off your front leg when you start.
9. Never say anything in your mind or out loud negative about you before the start just focus at the end.
10. I feel it’s easier to have a friend or family member you are close to because when you are running you will always hear them screaming your name or telling you to run faster which give me motivation to keep running
11. Always keep your arms in.
Laura Some decent tips, but I disagree with 1. You should drink and stay hydrated consistently throughout the day to avoid water sloshing and stitches, just sip a drink within half hour of a race

So here's my life story (sorry for my english) when i was 13 i was really slow i used to get defeated by younger boys and i wanted to change this so then i trained hard for 1 year and then in our school when i was 14 there was sports day in our school in november in which there were running event so i took part in 100 meters and 200 and i was scared af to run i thought i would basically come last but when the race started i couldnt believe i was running first and i aslo defeated the one who were elder then me i seriousely couldnt believe that and then i came first i got a trophy and i am really proud of myself .

I had to go to a sports award thing for school and I did cross country. My school is a private school, so instead of popularity, people will choose a favorite based off of their athletic-ness. It takes a lot to make me cry. A LOT. When we had to go in the stage, they called out people’s names and then their PR (personal record). As I heard the coach say everyone’s, I cringed out of embarrassment. Everyone else’s was 13 something and then she said mine. 19:24. I tried my best not to cry as people laughed at me, but when I went back to the stands, I couldn’t hold it in any longer. I didn’t make any noise, though. I just held a straight face as tears slid down my face. I do track and I’m pretty fast, but not with endurance. I’m better, now, though.

My goal is to make a track meet and not just the track team. I got the distance part down, as I do cross country but I’m now focused on sprints.

Before I did this training, I did 100m in 17 seconds which I felt very imbarsing. Now after doing this training for 2 months and doing it everyday, I can do it in 10.67 seconds! I was the slowest in my school. Now I'm the fastest. Every sports day I win by like 7 seconds. Thank you so much!
