Well done in getting that fish in those foul conditions graham 👍🏻 that wind sounded bloody horrible mate , you could even see the weed on the rocks blowing about like crazy .. great footage as always and that bright moon lit the sky and sea up so made the footage really stand out .. thanks for taking the time to do it 🎣
Another nice video. I'm an exiled Geordie (due to work) living near Wigan but still head up to Northumberland fishing whenever i can. Heading north next week, either Northumberland or Arbroath, depending on weather. Keep the vids coming!
@@JeffWhite-b1v thanks Jeff, it's been a bit tough the last couple of weeks with fish being a bit more sparse but better specimens coming out to the lucky few. Good luck wherever you go mate and thanks for watching
Great video Sid, those conditions looked brutal, that's the worst thing with club matches you can't pick the conditions, at least you didn't blank, it's right what you say you see inexperienced anglers pulling like mad when they are snagged instead of putting even pressure on and taking your time, that's how they drop fish, keep up the good work, tight lines.
@@bigbaz9335 cheers baz it was horrendous but it wasn't as bad as the Amble open on Sunday. Pretty much torrential heavy rain for the full comp. Despite us choosing a shot which looked perfect none of the four of us there managed to catch and I got soaked.
Proper mid-winter conditions! Hopefully we get fish through January into February. Seems like fishing has dropped off after Christmas these last few seasons.
It has dropped off, I've just been out fishing a high water comp but came back home after an hour. Landed one maybe just size but had mountains of weed and I've done a muscle in my forearm so just gave up. Think there will be fish about tonight if the anyone can beat the weed
Nice vlog Graham, you can't say you didn't try you're best however, if the fish aren't there they can't bite. Where did you get your head torch from and a rough cost. Keep up the fishing and tight lines for the future.

Thanks Mark yeah at least I wasn't raining as well 😕.
Conditions looked brutal. Respect for putting the small fish back, it looked keepable size.
Yeah it was size but I don't eat em. Thanks for watching
Nice to see someone taking their time in a snag instead of trying to snap a rod well done Graham 🎣
Cheers Peter it's pays to take care just in case you have one lying on 👍
Tough conditions sid 🥴 that wind looked horrendous mate, well done on the codling 💪🏻🎣

@@briandodd9804 yeah mate I did , bloody hell how are you ?
Another cracking video mate maybe you should have kept that codling to weigh in. I hate the wind more than the rain haha tight lines
@@blenchy5226 cheers mate I might have but I knew Dean had one bigger and it's a heaviest fish comp so didn't bother .
I would have been pleased with a fish like that well done you deserved it ❤
