They had a crazy moshpit going on when I saw them at a festival once, It was about 10 years ago I'd say. They played before a band I wanted to see (I think it was Epica) and as I wanted to be close to the barrier, I had to go through all the pushing, crowdsurfing etc. and I was still a scared kid back then :D (not a kid anymore, but still scared of big moshpits) It's party music for me, beer in one hand, vodka in the other (I remember their song Vodka was pretty popular in the past) but not something I'd listen to every day.
From the comments, it seems like they are much better live than album. I definitely want to check them out the Tuska fest in June. Thank you for sharing 🤘
Man I saw Korpiklaani live back in 2010 and even got to meet them. It was open air and the sound sucked, but they were a lot of fun and very nice to us. I have a picture with their guitarist and bassist somewhere. Haven't listened to their stuff in ages, but they have some songs in English, I think "Beer Beer" is probably the most famous, but it's literally all about drinking beer.
These guys were probably the best thing about that day, also known as the day I decided I'm done with festivals (at least the kind where I have to camp) 😂
Yeah, I don’t think I could ever do the camping kind. I need to be able to sleep at night. I didn’t sleep well in Rothenburg and ended up burning myself out. Now I am sick (getting better). Anyway lack of sleep would mess me up. No camping for me.
This is what I imagine Rednex would sound like if they where a metal band . I’m sure this is fun live after a lot of beer but I never want to listen to that song again 🙉.

They seem like a fun band. It sounds like you had a good experience with them, so it’s cool they are good people. I’ll look out for Beer Beer 🤣

I agree. Hope you feel better soon!
Thank you! I am hoping to knock out my albums of 2024, but need to wait till I can talk for a bit without coughing.

lol… they definitely seem to be a party band. I wouldn’t mind checking them out live.
@@MattsMoshPit1 They would probably be perfect on a Helsinki-Stockholm booze cruise 🤣
