Absolutely, this was the closest console experience to Battlefield 2, back when there weren't any good BF games on the consoles (played this pre-Bad Company and Modern Combat was shit)
The story of this game, namely what was told in the intro, had kinda predicted the future a little too much. Real scary how games like this, and MGS2 with the S3 Plan, and various other forms of media franchises have the tendency to indirectly predict the future. Even the Simpsons has done gags that predicted what has been going on in global events to this day.
I know for a fact it was the first game is ever played I got the game from my mom's friend I spent day fixing a junked XBOX 360 I got to play till mission 3 when the Xbox stopped working. i hope to play it again it was a fun open world experience in the three mission there's so much you can do in one mission and it's graphics are perfect
Dude it’s on steam and Xbox if you wanna get it plz play and finish the story mode if you haven’t it’s so good I just wish it was a lot more time and a lot more missions but still with what was done with it was a very very good story mode just too quick but I’m making it my goal in life to bring back this game I’m gonna make frontlines 2 or atleast try cuz this was way to advanced and too good for the time it came out for it not to continue
And also once you get done with them go to the bonus section of the menu and type sp-street and sp-village it’s under “cheats” but it’s also two extra mission for the story mode it’s not really directly story but it’s kinda apart of it
God I miss this game. Very unfortunate what happened to Kaos. Homefront was sub-par, but going 1-2 as a developer and going out of business for one shoddy title is depressing, especially when it seems like all these companies put out garbage and are still afloat somehow. Sadly I don’t see any hopes for a sequel from this IP, especially with the whole fear of offending the Chinese market with having the Red Star Alliance as the protagonists of the game. However something like a book series in the universe of the game doesn’t seem like something out of the realm of possibility, and I will happily buy them if they do come to fruition.
