@@Astristultotally agreed. Excited for this game but disappointed that Ubisoft is shoving dei crap into everyone's face. We asians never could have a Japanese samurai, just like we got Arab in Mirage
As a Japanese, I am very disappointed that there are now one Japanese Assassin instead of two. Yasuke is a person of no distinction in Japanese history. He is neither a samurai nor a warrior. If he was to appear in the game, he should have been one of the companions, not the leading samurai. It is terrible that Oda Nobunaga's baggage handler became a samurai and there is no Japanese samurai instead😢
@@HOYAHOYA-919 suck it up it ain't real why does y'all community care so much, it's a cool perspective instead of always going with the norm that's one of the few things I respect about Ubisoft. Give an outsider perspective on the culture and some who's apart of the culture 2 different perspectives is cool as hell and can be a great story. U got Miss JAPANESE woman then you got African slave turned samurai by Nobunaga all historical fiction I like that take.
The small details in this game are incredible. I wonder if the spy network will be similar to the assassin recruit system in brotherhood, revelations and 3
I feel like it will be similar in that you'll have to recruit your spies... but then I wonder if there are also going to be like "map-based" missions that you can use them on like, as you said, in ACB, ACR and AC3
With the focus on Stealth. Yasuke really does come off like an afterthought. Almost the exact opposite of what happened with Valhalla where stealth while technically in the game was almost useless.
Quick question, are assassinations going to be level blocked? Cause if so, then the dynamic changes they’ve made to stealth will honestly suck in my opinion. I can understand in hand to hand combat the gameplay gets more RPG like, but in Assassinations? No. You’re going into enemy territory and sneaking up behind them to stab them in the back. That should be an instant kill. If I have to go through all the trouble of working around the AI that appears to have gotten rather smart, then I shouldn’t have to worry about my level preventing me from being able to take out an enemy.
So as excited as I am for this AC title I can't help but feel like Yasuke is purposely set up to fail as a playable character. This is not because of his ethnicity but because all stealth skills are stripped from him so he's useless as an assassin. What's the point of having two playable characters and then stripping one of any and all stealth skills? On a side note, I am super excited to see what types weapons, gear, and various tools we will have at our disposal. Also, I think the hideout will be pretty cool too!
There will be, yeah! The hidden blade + Tanto sword combo is one of Naoe’s weapons, which means it’ll be a combo that can be used in combat and it’ll also have a dedicated special assassination (the double air assassination, as we mentioned in the video)
If the game still takes in consideration the lore established in 2014's mobile game Assassin's Creed Memories, than yeah, Hattori Hanzo should be an Assassin ... but that's a huge IF
We don’t know yet! The Brotherhood has already had many brute-type kind of assassins which weren’t really the best at stealth, so we can’t rule Yasuke as an eventual member of the Assassins out yet!
At this point, what is the point of having yasuke...If he does not join the brotherhood and become an assassin in this game, his entire development Arc will be absolutely pointless
For when the game hasn’t come out yet, so you know there’s that also why would they spoil him joining the brotherhood that could be a major point in the story also, if he doesn’t join the brotherhood, I don’t see why that would make his narrative arc nonsense considering we know he’s allied with the bad guys in the beginning But clearly sees the light towards the end
@Ghost_-nz5dy Hhhhhh...I genuinely do hope that they're just trying not to spoil him doing that....and it can be pointless if he doesnt...you have this character that goes through so much development through the story, but still refuses to join the brotherhood? All that development was for nothing...because he remains the same as he did from the start. Its very unsatisfying and ruins the characters development arc. Look at what happened to eivor. Eivor became boring and pointless, because she chose not to fully transition and take that final leap into the brotherhood. Look at kassandra, arguably the worst protagonist. She had no development whatsoever, because she was given dialog choices that were polarizing to what happened in the story cutscenes. The gameplay allowed you to counter what the story suggested. You can literally slaughter an entire village in odyssey, but still somehow be a hero at the end of the story...like how does that work?. Ultimately what makes or breaks a character is how they write them in the story. This is Ubisoft Quebec not to mention, and they're notorious for not having well written characters.
I like stealth play. I also got sneak and crit perks when playing Skyrim, Fallout 4, and Cyberpunk 2077. So I'm frustrated and sad. Why are there no male ninjas in AC Shadows? In the Assassin's Creed series, there was no difference in ability between men and women. They could be enhanced at will. Why, in Shadows, are men muscular and women dexterous? Isn't that sexist, which UBI is supposed to hate?
"Possible return of double assassination"
Ok, I'm interested
If I hear the assassin templar war will take a backseat in the game I will probably not get it
I truly hope that's not the case!
I don’t care what the haters say, I am incredibly hyped for this game, can’t wait 🙌🙌
The haters don't exist there in the cyberspace
If I'm against the woke bs, I'm a hater?! 🙄 I'm convinced that the game will be great, but woke politics should not be a part of it!

Thank you so much for giving us info about the games without putting out hate-filled screeds. There are far too many of those.
I’m super hyped for this game
i like it
i really got my hopes high, but i have a greater idea for another AC Game which would have a good modern world story with a great setting
I really liked that Yasuke didn't have a STEATLH, since Odyssey I feel enormous discomfort in assassinating an enemy, which only got worse in Valhalla
This game looks pretty good. I like to sneaking and assassin enemies 👍
all the unnecessary flips make this look comical

To me it’s about little girls and monsters not black people and women ninjas

This is shaping up to be the best standard stealth game in a LONG time. The last great one I can think of is Styx: Shards Of Darkness.
im hopeful but at the same time if they dont show us some actual Assassins soon im gunna get Oddessy PTSD
