that intake is called the crossfire, incredible throttle response i'm into modifying vw bugs in the philippines, my buddy has a sandrail with a stock motor (1600) it's quick as hell, i slapped on my bigger motor and we're having trouble trying to keep the front wheels on the ground, i just subbed buddy

Have a street rail myself,in Ohio ,we call em woods buggies,lotsa fun,no sand around Here though.

Do you have a video on what you needed for passing chp inspection?
We don't have a video about that actually. The car was registered out of state, but, built in CA. You will need to adhere to the DOT laws in that state, and you should be fine. I think the vehicle was registered in Michigan, if I'm not mistaken.
What material was used to make the hood and the sides on your buggy?
He said, "Aluminum, designed with a bead roller". Does that answer your question?
