The biggest night on the bluegrass calendar, featuring once-in-a-lifetime moments and outstanding performances by the best in bluegrass. Show Starts at 7:30pm EST.
Stellar musicians let down by subpar sound. Sam Bush is a towering presence, reduced by the sound people to a parking lot hack. Sad. And this is the IBMA, people who should know better from decades of trying to dominate a music they still don't understand? About right, really. Nice camera focus on the mandolin during the guitar break, too. Vote no.
So glad David Grisman received that award. Bought my first (of many) mandolins after hearing the Hot Dawg album.
Thank you so much for posting this!
Thank you David!!!
Glad to hear that the movie star Steve Martin was nominated. His recognition in the music industry needs to be lauded :.
Whoever is taking care of the sound. Wake up
❤❤
Definitely. What the heck!!!
Truly felt sorry for anyone performing, that engineer didn’t have a grip on the sound throughout the complete show

You got the wrong guy , don’t mess with that shit
Maddie Denton was probably the prettiest at the prom.
Who chose the stage decorations? Looks like a house of ill-repute!
The Crying Uncle Bluegrass band was great
Where was Taylor Swift?
Nice production of Pickers & Grinners .
bummer that you cut off Molly Tuttle at the end
Justin's Dobro break on Ruby was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Aynsley Porchak is 1 absolutely gorgeous young lady
When in God’s name will Andy hall be named Dobro Player of the Year ?! ………
Where's Williamson Branch? I thought sure they would be there winning a award
That ended abruptly!
Classy.
The sound?!? What a crying shame
Some of the video work was pretty terrible too.
Playing a solo off camera? No excuse for that.
It's a shame the IBMA went with the low bidder production crew. I'm at the SPBGMA convention right now. 40 yrs of pure enjoyment every year.
you wouldn't roll so slow if you know what i know roll on buddy roll on
Should have thanked Gordon Lightfoot for writing Alberta Bound. A true Canadian
, he passed away a few months ago.
Cameraman doesn’t know instruments.
Director has no clue who to zoom in on for each mandolin solo!... Missed opportunity
Supeeeeeeeeer
If Steve Martin is bluegrass, I'm an Israeli jet pilot.
WOW, what a disappointment, none of that was bluegrass
Agreed. There is no longer any trace of traditional bluegrass. It’s all this progressive crap. No wonder Larry Sparks didn’t come.

What an absolutely horrible sound performance......Sound person/company should not be invited back...
