[TRIP REPORT] Etihad Airways Airbus A320-200 From Athens ATH To Abu Dhabi AUH In Economy Class

Etihad Airways is one of the well known premium full service carriers from the Gulf Region in the Middle East. Many of them once offered cheaply discounted tickets for longhaul travellers, but those days seems over as they have builed up a strong brand and reputation throughout the years. Plenty of travellers would prefer flying Emirates, Qatar Airways or Etihad Airways over an European carrier.
However, sometimes Etihad still offer steeply discounted tickets and that's in order to compete with Wizz Air who offers rock bottom prices below 100 EUR for flights between Europe and Abu Dhabi. Wizz Air was even more expensive than my Etihad Flight, asking 90 EUR for a barebone ticket departing on the same day, while Etihad offered a seat on their flight for just 68,70 EUR. So this is a wonderful opportunity to try out Etihad Airways.
In the video I've mentioned that I had seat 19F, but I actually had seat 19A. Initially during check in I was randomly allocated to have seat 19F, but I asked to change it to the A side due to the position of the sun. Filming against the sun would have been a bad idea, but luckily I could enjoy the "shadow" window side on this flight with no need to pay for it.
