Ok I figured out the RGB sync to motherboard cable for anyone who wants to know. Connect the 4 pin addressable RGB cable to your motherboard and plug the other end into the case fan cable that is labeled "Main". You will need to unplug that cable from the top case button that allows you to change colours, this button will no longer work as your motherboard is now syncing the colours. Also make sure to unplug the SATA cable.

If the fans are not spinning, check that the Fan Hub for the case is plugged into the Motherboard, there is one cable that come off the hub that needs to go to the MB in order to power the fans.
Hello. I need to connect fans to the board to make them spin. There is a 4-pin wire from the fans, but my board has only one 3-pin connector. Can I connect there? Board - Asrock h61M VG3
As long as your connecting to a System Fan Header, you just need to line up the tabs from both the MB and Fan connector and it'll work. However only use 3 fans max or it could short out the Fan Header.
There are some different types of cases that go by the same name. Some have the fans others don't depends on which case. I did a video on one that I added the fans and then a second one that came with the fans. The one with fans is a slight difference in price.

@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM I'm just wondering, is the surrounding of the power button supposed to light up when you connect it all to the motherboard?
Hey so i have this case and i use the standard fans plus 2 extra on my aio. I can only control the rgb on the fans by the button on the top of the case. I have a asus motherbord and want to use aura but i cant understand the wiering to get add. If i dont connect the sata to the button on the case i dont have any rgb but working fans still. Might be a bit of a noob question but the rgb part is more complicated the building the rest of the pc for me.
It can be a problem sometimes to get RGB devices to work, especially if they don't get noticed by the software. There are a couple programs that might help, Open RGB and Signal RGB both work great. Hope that helps.
As long as your Fans go into a Fan Header there should be no reason to get damage. The damage could result from using the wrong ARGB Header, to know which one of those is correct if there is a 3 Pin it's ARGB 5V that it needs to go into and ensure the arrow matches the left side where it says 5V. Same is true if its a 4 Pin in that case it's RGB 12V and therefore you want to plug it into a 4 Pin 12V RGB Header arrow to the same side as where it says 12V.
Hi, I’m using asus tuf z590 in a deep cool matrexx 50. I want to control the front and back fan rgb with software. Any advice on how to make it happen? Thx :)
So you can use your Motherboard Manufacturer's Software to control the RGB, if for some reason that's not working an alternative that others have found helped a lot is a program called Signal RGB it will recognize all your devices regardless of Manufacturer.
The 3 front fans can use either a Fan Hub or directly into the MB Fan Header, for the RGB there are connectors that go to the MB as well, if there missing then reach out to the place you got them from and get a replacement.
Check all your cables are plugged in, there should be one going to the either ARGB or RGB depends on the connector, 3 Pin is ARGB and 4 Pin is RGB then its just a matter of adjusting it with the RGB Software from the Motherboard. Hope that helps.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Hey, thanks for the fast reply and help, my old motherboard(msi b350 tomahawk) doesn't have an RGB or ARGB header, just had to connect that loose cable to the Sata power cable like u said in the video, I misinterpreted it, but it's fixed, very much thank you.

Hello Is the front only the reflection of light or is the front glass made of two parts? In some pictures it looks like it is from one part and in others it looks like it has a slit in the middle?
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Thank you very much, on the official site it looks like a reflection... I hope not so. And do you think this model is as good as the DEEPCool matrexx 55 V3 model?
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM I found a v3 without a fan, and if I installed it, it would be very expensive, and this matrexx comes with fans, so I am asking if it is also good to buy.
The fans all connect in the back, there is however one end that goes to the Motherboard, and the cable they include that should plug into the MB will not connect to the cabling anywhere that I could find, I suspect it needs a separate cable. So I used the SATA Power cable and plugged it into the Power Supply SATA connector. So then I used the LED button on top to changed colors but was still able to make changes using MSI Dragon Center but that will depend on your specific MB software to do that and the Corsair Software for the the Ram. So in short, 1 MB Fan cable to MB and the SATA Power Cable both connected.
Yes, you can turn the RGB Off with the Software, or if your MB has a off switch for the RGB you can use that as well. The Software depends on which ever software came with your MB, although if you want to use something else you could use a program called Signal RGB.
It is sufficient for high end gaming, its not the very best Airflow but does work. I sold it to someone that has been doing nothing but gaming and its working great. It doesn't overheat from what he has told me.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM I took those screws out but can only move the tray side to side, I couldn't take it out as it got caught on the bottom edge of the case where the back panel clips in (so I didn't want to bend that). Tried to pull it out on many different angles with no success
@@timmy2410 Its been awhile but thought I had to slide it all the way to one side and then it'd come out but maybe I'm wrong as I had this a very short time before it went to the client. If you want it out and never to use it again maybe you could use something to bend it and take it out but not sure about that. Some don't come out but if you need it out permanently then doing a bit of Modding might be required.
Small question for you. I see that it has 2 HDD 3.5 slots. I want to have two 18TB in raid 1 + one 8 TB HDD. Do you think I can do something for that? Two add a third HDD 3.5 ? Thanks
It doesn't have a spot for a 3rd HD size 3.5, but you could try adding one on top of the HD Cage with Double sided Tape, if there isn't room then you might be able to still use Double sided Tape somewhere else, it won't be elegant but could work.
A reset button is nice but not a need to have, if it doesn't have one its not an issue at all. Several cases these days no longer use a reset button, so it'll be fine.
If you don't have ARGB and it's needed then yes if your MB doesn't have the ARGB then controlling it from the case may be the only other option. You could also try (only if) you have Corsair RGB Memory using iCUE Software as that can sometimes help.
@@super1512 That's to bad, prices everywhere have been going up so it might have cost less before. Good luck with whatever you choose next. Have a great day.
I plan on using this case for my PC build, but the micro ATX motherboard I bought only has two fan headers. One for the CPU fan, and one for the case fans. This case comes with four fans, is there any way to connect them all?
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM It won't cause any problems connecting all four fans using the fan splitter, right? I was going through the comments and I thought you said something about only using three fans max on one header.
Only use 3 fans at a time, 4 might be to much for the fan header, however if your using a Fan Hub then it'll work with however many it was designed to hold as it'll be getting it power from the SATA from the PSU.

@@shubh_sxngh So it sounds like the HD Audio cable that connects to your Motherboard might be loose or disconnected, check the cable as it could be the reason. @@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Thanks for the quick reply, last question: should I purchase more fans because of the airflow and because I’m gaming, or do you think it will be okay?
It'll be good there are 3 fans in front and a rear exhaust fan. You could put in a couple on top if you wanted to but I'd keep an eye on temps for a bit first and see how it goes before deciding.

If it's a AIO then yes, if you mean the one's with the tubes and such I'm not sure there is room I think but not certain never done that type before. Hope that answers your question.
Check all your cables are plugged in including the SATA Power cable, and that your Front Panel connectors are on correctly. If not it's possible it's defective but most likely it's a loose cable.
Hey so i read through all the comments and watched the video, still cant figure it out , i have this case with a gigabyte b560 motherboard and have no idea how to hook the fans to the mobo. using signal rgb, asus armory crate and rgb fusion i can control the trident z ram the led air cooler and argb gpu bracket. Is there a way to hook the case fans to the mobo?
Yes, if you have enough Fan Headers on your MB you can plug them directly into it, or get a 3 way fan splitter to do it and use just 1 Fan Header, don't exceed more then 3 fans though.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM so i have 2 open sys fan 4 pin headers , and 1 open led c1 4 pin , it came as a prebuilt i do think all 4 fans are on 1 header though
@@sanderssmokes Yeah just to be safe I would only have 3 on one fan header, the Led C1 4 Pin not sure if that's a RGB Header and or if you need this, can't remember what the connector for the case was it was either ARGB which would be a 3 Pin 5V or 4 Pin 12V Header. So the other two fan headers could certainly be used if needed.
Can't remember for certain but the Fans are rated: Fan Speed: 500±200 -1500±10%RPM, and Noise: 17.8~27dB(A) and they were 4 Pin PWM Fans so yes they are controllable. Hope that helps.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM thank you! I have another question, with that cpu cooler, will I still be able to put 120/140mm fans on top or will it be too tight? If so, what fans do you recommend? Thanks again
Yes its argb some mobos dont have the argb header on the motherboard. Most just have the regular 12v rgb connector. Dont try plug a argb 3pin into a 12v rgb header. If ur mobo dont have a argb header just buy like a 10$ fan hub.
I powered up the fans first then worried about the rgb after that i also unplugged everything and started from scratch. Because the cable mess was so confusing!!
I bought this case. I have only one problem The rear fan doesn't sync with the fronts fan And i test it with aura sync and i can't change the color of the front fan
If the rear exhaust fan is connected to a hub, or maybe even if it isn't you could try unplug and plug into the SYS_FAN 2 fan header on your motherboard, and then make adjustments for the fan curve independent from the other fans, also check in the BIOS for any settings that might help. You may need to change the SYS_FAN 2 fan header to DC mode also if it is only a three pin fan. Had to search this one up as I haven't encountered it before. Hope it might help some.
Your not alone in that, the cable they provide to control the colors with the MB Software has no where that it connects to that I could find. I have Corsair RGB Memory so it allowed me to use the iCUE Software for the Ram, and the Dragon center for the MB. For the case itself I needed to use the RGB Button on top of the case. I'm still looking for a solution to it. I'll post a follow up if I find the solution.
It's a good case but I'd probably use one with better airflow for your system. The new Corsair Airflow cases are good and the G360A Phanteks is also really good bit pricey but worth it. This case will work but temps might not be ideal.
I agree it wasn't the best airflow, but temps stayed low regardless as I later updated to an AIO and it stayed great after that but still I've for sure had better cases. Thanks
If i have an ATX motherboard can i install aio cooler on the top? I bought a Cooler Master Masterliquid ML240 Illusion and i want a new case because not fit in.

Can i make the RGB colours all green? Or are they rainbow only?
Yes, you can make them all whatever colour you prefer.
This case is so awesome.
You probably mentioned it in the video, but there is no way to control the rgb with that button on the case without using the sata connector.
Yeah not sure if I did, but I'm going to do a video in a while on a Open Source program called SignalRGB that might help in situations where the RGB just isn't working. It is an amazing looking case for sure.

Quick question. Where do I connect the fans that are included with the case on my Msi b550 tomahawk so that the fans won’t be damaged?
As long as your Fans go into a Fan Header there should be no reason to get damage. The damage could result from using the wrong ARGB Header, to know which one of those is correct if there is a 3 Pin it's ARGB 5V that it needs to go into and ensure the arrow matches the left side where it says 5V. Same is true if its a 4 Pin in that case it's RGB 12V and therefore you want to plug it into a 4 Pin 12V RGB Header arrow to the same side as where it says 12V.
is it possible to make the rgb lights in the fans not fade in and out, to just have them a static colour?
Yes your software will have other options, static is the option.
Hi, I’m using asus tuf z590 in a deep cool matrexx 50. I want to control the front and back fan rgb with software. Any advice on how to make it happen? Thx :)
So you can use your Motherboard Manufacturer's Software to control the RGB, if for some reason that's not working an alternative that others have found helped a lot is a program called Signal RGB it will recognize all your devices regardless of Manufacturer.
i have a problem i couldn't find power cabel for the 3 fans front
The 3 front fans can use either a Fan Hub or directly into the MB Fan Header, for the RGB there are connectors that go to the MB as well, if there missing then reach out to the place you got them from and get a replacement.
Could u help me? Everything is working correctly but the rgb on the fans just won't work, how did u connect it? Thanks :D
Check all your cables are plugged in, there should be one going to the either ARGB or RGB depends on the connector, 3 Pin is ARGB and 4 Pin is RGB then its just a matter of adjusting it with the RGB Software from the Motherboard. Hope that helps.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Hey, thanks for the fast reply and help, my old motherboard(msi b350 tomahawk) doesn't have an RGB or ARGB header, just had to connect that loose cable

Hello
Is the front only the reflection of light or is the front glass made of two parts?
In some pictures it looks like it is from one part and in others it looks like it has a slit in the middle?
The Front is Tempered Glass as is the side panel, the front is only one piece. There is no slit in the middle.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM
Thank you very much, on the official site it looks like a reflection...
I hope not so.
And do you think this model is as good as the DEEPCool matrexx 55 V3 model?
Yes, better actually. I like the Deepcool Matrexx but this was nicer to build in.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM I found a v3 without a fan, and if I installed it, it would be very expensive, and this matrexx comes with fans, so I am asking if it is also good to buy.
Yes, its a good buy for sure.
Hey bro how do u plug the fans in. Do u need to use the motherboard fan headers or just sata?
The fans all connect in the back, there is however one end that goes to the Motherboard, and the cable they include that should plug into the MB will not connect to the cabling anywhere that I could find, I suspect it needs a separate cable. So I used the SATA Power cable and plugged it into the Power Supply SATA connector. So then I used the LED button on top to changed colors but was still able to make changes using MSI Dragon Center but that will depend on your specific MB software to do that and the Corsair Software for the the Ram. So in short, 1 MB Fan cable to MB and the SATA Power Cable both connected.
Very beautiful upload enjoyed watching stay connected friend
Hello Have a great day 💖
Thank you! You too!
Can you turn the color of the fans off? What software do they use
Yes, you can turn the RGB Off with the Software, or if your MB has a off switch for the RGB you can use that as well. The Software depends on which ever software came with your MB, although if you want to use something else you could use a program called Signal RGB.
I got the rbg to turn on but only one fan powers to spin.
You can Daisy Chain all the Fans, try that if you have one going then it will let them all work.
Quick question? Is the fan airflow good is it good enough for high end gaming? Will the pc overheat? Thanks
It is sufficient for high end gaming, its not the very best Airflow but does work. I sold it to someone that has been doing nothing but gaming and its working great. It doesn't overheat from what he has told me.
How to change the lights with software? Wich software did you use
I built it very fast and it was gone for a Christmas gift, but I was using the Software that came with the MB, Armory Crate I believe it was.
Have you managed to take the HDD tray out? I tried with a recent build but couldn't get it out
There are 4 screws on the bottom of the case holding in the HD Cage, once they are removed it should come out. I didn't take this one out though.
Hi Dennis! I just bought this case ,my manual shows a reset connector, mine does not have this connector is this an issue or a case defect?
A reset button is nice but not a need to have, if it doesn't have one its not an issue at all. Several cases these days no longer use a reset button, so it'll be fine.
Yo can the PSU shield covering the bottom on the inside be removed, can't find an open bottom case anymore
No unfortunately not.
Wait so is this argb? I'm confused.. If I'm using a motherboard that doesn't support argb then I need to use the case to control the lighting?
If you don't have ARGB and it's needed then yes if your MB doesn't have the ARGB then controlling it from the case may be the only other option. You could also try (only if) you have Corsair RGB Memory using iCUE Software as that can sometimes help.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM OK, thank you :)

If you get a Fan Splitter/Hub you'll be able to do that otherwise not sure.
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Ok, thank you so much!
@@Reviewing_Playing_and_More_RPM Thanks for the reply! I ended up getting a different motherboard with four fan headers before I built my PC

Get the MESH version! Or you can remove the tempered glass from the front 3 fans and mod it yourself with an ac filter like I did

Yes, Airflow is not great but it's decent enough. Whenever there's Tempered Glass as much as this cases tend to not have great airflow.

Check all your cables are plugged in including the SATA Power cable, and that your Front Panel connectors are on correctly. If not it's possible it's defective but most likely it's a loose cable.
How can I control the Fan Speed, where do I go or what do I need to DL

Same!
I bought this case.
I have only one problem
The rear fan doesn't sync with the fronts fan
And i test it with aura sync and i can't change the color of the front fan
If the rear exhaust fan is connected to a hub, or maybe even if it isn't you could try unplug and plug into the SYS_FAN 2 fan header on your motherboard, and then make adjustments for the fan curve independent from the other fans, also check in the BIOS for any settings that might help. You may need to change the SYS_FAN 2 fan header to DC mode also if it is only a three pin fan. Had to search this one up as I haven't encountered it before. Hope it might help some.
