I just got a prebuilt with this exact case, the Fan LEDs are on a rainbow colour setting, how would I go about changing fan colours and colour rhythm ?
On this case, there is a button on the top of the case just past the headphone/mic jacks that changes the color cycle of the fans. It is very small and says LED. You just have to press until you find the pre-set you like. Not that you asked but you cannot, to my knowledge change fan colors individually.

But that's why I made this because I need that kind of thing explained so I don't panic about frying a component or breaking stuff.
Edit: I misread this 2x already. Follow the cables from the RGB light button at the top the case. One of those cables should connect to the motherboard. On my case, it was below where the graphics card sits. It's a thicker cable.
You mean the button at the top of the case? If that is what you mean, what I did was trace the cable that is connected to the little board at the top of the case. One of those cables is the one that sends the signal to the lights. It's just a matter of figuring it out. If I can get my son to stop playing minecraft tomorrow I'll take a look.
The lights are powered separately. You have to trace the RGB power from each fan and connect the included cable that matches them. They connect to the bundle of cables that connect to the light button on the top of the case.
Where do you want it to reach? My cable was able to reach the motherboard pretty easily. A lot of figuring it out was just laying the cables out and looking at them to make sense of where they can go.
The cables can be daunting at first. They seem insane and don't reach where you think they should. I followed a RUclips building guide to know what goes where. Lo and behold, there is a method to the madness. If you follow the steps it all makes sense, eventually. Big things like graphics cards, hard drives, DVD drives all get their power from the power supply. The motherboard has spots all over it for powering fans and other connections. Find a guide and skip ahead to the part you're confused about it. I made this video because there just wasn't any plain explanation about where that fan was supposed to be plugged into. In my 1st PC I just never hooked up the front case fans and the motherboard eventually burned out... lesson learned!
The fans and rgb are powered separately. My video shows how to get the fans spinning. There is a separate cable that connects the RGB lights to the power. I has been over year since I built this PC but if you check the fans there should be a separate connector for the LED lights for each fan. I believe that connects to the cables that go to the power button/LED state changing button at the top of the case. There should have been an extra cable in the box to connect them.
I believe that the ... cable is for the RBG lights and connects to the button controller that is connected to the RGB power and controller at the top of the case in back. I'm not sure about the . .. cable.

Thanks for this helpful video!
Glad it was helpful!
That would solve the issue, just there is no such cabel in the box. I got only VDG-5DGND-femaleFanPlug and male-female fan cabel 😢
I cant even find the female cable receiver
What if the cable isn't able to reach?
Oh my I have the deep cool matrexx 55
Where do you want it to reach? My cable was able to reach the motherboard pretty easily. A lot of figuring it out was just laying the cables out and looking at them to make sense of where they can go.
@@robotlou ill try that. Thank you
Thank you so much man.
Bro I don't get it I have also a liquid cooler but I am totally lost with al the cabels
Does anyone know why my fans are spinning but the rgb isn’t working on them
The fans and rgb are powered separately.
What about the other extra cable? The female connector that looks like . .. And ...
I believe that the ... cable is for the RBG lights and connects to the button controller that is connected to the RGB power and controller at the top of the case in back. I'm not sure about the . .. cable.
The ... Connector also has 3 pin connector, should i put the 3 pin in the MAIN cable in the cpu case?
@@eunyldizon9663 I'm sorry at this point I'm not clear what you're talking about and I can't take the PC apart to figure it out. Best of luck!
Thanks for helping me man

Thank you very much. I have done some VO work here and there. Haven't had time to audition since the pandemic made my house a NEVER QUIET ZONE! :D I also did a podcast for a long time of places on the internet you wouldn't want in your browser history called Lou Reads the Internet for YOU! There are some examples on this channel. Thanks again for the kind words.
Thank you.
finallllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
thank a lot
I don't have a 4 pin reseptor i only have 3 pins
When you get the case it should come with a box of extra cables tucked into the area that the power supply goes. The cables I'm talking about are in that box. There were at least 2 different cables if I recall correctly. Good luck!
@@robotlou yes i found them thanks a lot man you solved a big problem for me
ok but where do I insert the Gay Sex Robot?
RTFM N00B! Also, the GSR will insert itself wherever it pleases once it's shame chip is removed. HTH.

You're welcome. Still amazed that this video is helping people! It is such an oversight by the case makers!
