I have moved five times since I started building my biplane over 25 years ago. I can't believe it has survived all of that. But this video series has really gotten me motivated to finish. Thank you Frank.
Sorry the video was only 35 minutes as I enjoy the build the content you have been doing. Looking forward to the next build as the CG SU-26 is my next build, this coming winter. Shame that the company is now gone today, they made some of the best model plane kits. Nice technique for painting the cowl, learned some new tricks with this video.
Thank you. Me too, but I hit a snag in the build. Missing a sheet of balsa for the horizontal stab. One of the wing sheets has about three inches broke off one end. Stab joiner, and elevator control horn plates are too thick. Had to order new balsa in the correct sizes. No biggie. The kit wood is very heavy, and hard. 16 pound balsa. 😬
wowzers! really nice! Love it! Thanks for these videos. Great info for when I decide to start my 60 Bel-Air. Do the instructions show where to check the CG? I ask because on my Mamba 60E bipe and such others, my instructions have the CG checked on the bottom wing.
Very nice! Back in the 90’s we used to put flying wires on the tail because it would crack if you got to Violent with the maneuvers.
Great build Great intros!!!
Thank you. Glad you like the content.
Attention to detail is above and beyond.

That is amazing. I’m glad I motivated you. Good luck with your biplane build.
Thanks for this build series . I just picked this model up it had been hanging in a garage for several years. It's a complete restoration
Glad you found interest in the content. The Ultimate is one of my favorites. 🤙👍

Beautiful plane Frank! You have mad skills!
I would be afraid to fly it but am looking forward to the maiden.
Thank you. Hopefully the weather will finally warm up, so I can get a maiden in. We’ll see. 👍

Thanks. There wasn’t enough to do for a longer video. The Sukhoi is gonna be a great build. Right from the start, I had issues. You’ll see eventually.
Nice work! I’m sure getting the urge to build one.
Thanks! Just do it! You know you want to. Lol
Very nice. I built 2 of them about 30 years ago. Currently working on a Ohio ultimate 27% kit. It's been slow going.
Beauty! Well Done Frank
Thank you. Can’t wait to film the maiden flight. 👍

Thank you
Frank, Do we have a video of a flight? Been looking forward to it!
Not yet! Flying season is almost over where I live, and I just don’t have the time these days. I will do a maiden fight video when it happens. 👍

Thanks. Yes. The plans show the CG on the bottom wing, but I just transfer that to the top wing.
Whenya gunna fly it?
Yes sir! It’s still false spring here in Pennsylvania. As soon as the weather warms up. Believe me, I’m excited to see it fly. 👍
she came out fantastic!....very pretty airplane, love the colors and motor.....BUT she seems Kinda NEKED without a pilot...LOL
Thanks. Every ounce saved makes her more agile in the air. 😂
