All that titanium and you have a 10 gallon heavy ass fuel tank in the back. Put a mech pump. And a 2 gallon up front. Delete the trunk floor with aluminum or carbon. No front sway bar. A aftermarket steering column. the lambos/r8s use that because they don’t have a mechanical pump option. T1 uses mechanical pumps on all the GTRs
The titanium really wasn’t for saving weight, the money to weight never makes sense on stuff like that, It was just to have because It looks good lol. Also, T1 actually made a post 2 hours ago showcasing their new hanger for the R35 that houses the ELM pump, 1600 whp car, the pump drew a peak of 36 amps at full tilt. Mechanical pumps work, I want to try something new. Also, the thought of a fuel cell upfront always has and always will scare me. Lol
Pretty similar to my evo build. Few small differences. Im a 150mm r&r rod, sequential trans, etc.. you can fit the aeromotive 15gal cell in the spare tire well. I run their in-cell 7gal/min brushless variable speed pump. No surge needed and im on thr same turbo from harry
Badass! Yeah I just keep my 156mm spec pistons always in stock, so It just made sense. Also the slight torque reduction with the longer rod would make no noticeable difference for a drag motor, so I always opt for the longer rod for less side loading. I’m stoked to see what the turbo does
2nd evo X ive seen on haltech, do only certain tuners do this? My tuner seems to want only MoTec for X's. Id love to not have to spend MoTec money if haltech can do the same stuff, your thoughts?
