@Domenico Bocchetti Nothing probably. He‘s just locking for some recognition and using dated trolls from 2005 seemingly is the only way he knows how. But with a kickass name like „mc pimpsalot“ I of cause wouldn’t expect anything less. 😂
For real. Alot of people didn't realize that in the end of FF7R Cloud attempted to Omnislash Sephiroth but Sephiroth blocked ALL of it. I have a couple theories about that, either Cloud attempted something that he didn't master yet (which was the Omnislash), or Sephiroth has knowledge of the future and after being defeated a couple of times by Omnislash now he knows how to stop it.
Just a heads up to everyone, Smash Ultimate is going to be releasing an update along with Sephiroth that will alter Cloud's Final Smash, causing him to use Omnislash Ver.6 when wearing his Advent Children outfit.

There's a parody version of Omnislash in the anime game series "Hyperdimension Neptunia" with one character referencing Square Enix making a reference to both the OG Omnislash and Omnislash Version 5 called Omnislice Version 5 as their ultimate move which had two versions. The normal version references both Omnislash and Omnislash Version S while the ultimate version has aspects from other aspects from Square Enix items like the black materia from the original FF7 game with the meteor.

Grounded it had Cloud land on the floor without his sword before catching it, in the air, it has him still holding his sword as he does a downward, almost sideways strike.
No, that name is for one of the swords of the fusion sword. I do believe that’s the name for the main blade or the base sword. The team behind advent children never put an effort in naming the other individual sword or the fusion sword itself.
@@mvodinh I know the other five blades had been given fan names, the first connecting blade was the Impact blade due to being the front of the combined form, the two back blades were called serrated blades (or something close and the last two were named switch blades.

Won't lie, when I first saw Advent children I thought they were treating omnislash v5 as a wholely new limit break, and I could have sworn I saw it called sonic rave at some point.
In Megadimention Neptunia VII, S-Sha, the character representing Square-Enix (she has another personality named E-Sha, though S-Sha makes some Dragon Quest references herself like her gold form's sword and shield and "S-Sha's Attack" which references the Dragon Quest battle mechanics) has an EXE Drive (basically a limit break) based on Omnislash called Omnislice Ver. S. It's a reference to Omnislash Ver. 5 in particular that does three hits, splits the sword, does twelve more hits for a total of fifteen then the dive finisher happens. Although in her Gold Form (which also grants her a single wing), this attack seems to reference Sephiroth instead, as instead of splitting her reference to Erdrick's sword (which is far too skinny), a massive explosion happens, she throws a pair of orbs, one red and one blue, followed by her sword, which also causes a massive explosion, then she *_snaps a meteor onto the enemy_* which instantly falls onto them and of course, also causes a massive explosion (did Bay come up with this move?))
The Japanese name is...kind of stupid. I mean Omni- means "Everywhere or all". So Omnislash literally means "ALL THE SLASHES!" OR "Slashes from Everywhere".
Well, the point of the name is that tries to be the second definition? I mean it is not literally from everywhere but the name is hyperbolic like most "cool" names for things.
Its possible Japan doesn't have a translation for omni, not every Japanese word can be translated to English and viceversa. Either that or they just wanted to have fun by calling it something ridiculous.
Can't wait to see what they do with it in the remake. It's interesting to see how it has evolved over the years. Now we just need to see how the Jecht Shot evolved into Mark 3
Juggernaut ultimate in Dota2 is Omni slash. Guest what his also invincible if there are many enemies in the area it will change target attack them randomly like the 1st version of Cloud’s Omni slash.
It just says something about how iconic a move is, when it appears in not only other Square-Enix games but other works entirely. For example, in Mobile Suit Gundam 00, when Trans-Am is unlocked for the first time, Setsuna pulls off a move that is in every way inspired by Omnislash Version 5, except it is done with a single sword rather than multiple swords. It doesn't destroy the enemy, though. And in NieR Automata, an Action RPG by Square-Enix, there are at least 2 ways to trigger an attack that looks very similar to Omnislash Version 5 as well. Only one is a certain-kill move, though, but that move doesn't work on bosses. The weaker version is pretty much just a standard move, though and doesn't deal that much extra damage (although the enemy is defenseless for those few seconds)

Kind of dated in a way, but given the series is wrapping up in another season or so, Dragon Quest the Adventure of Dai is something that I wish we'd have gotten something equivalent to in Final Fantasy, though there were the Unlimited and Legend of the Crystals stuff (neither of which I've watched, though I would like to see Unlimited, even if they had to cut it down to half the length because of Spirits Within nearly bankrupting Square). It's on CR, which really is convenient for how FUnimation is being absorbed And it's a good intro in a way to Dragon Quest as a series, given it's kind of a competitor with Final Fantasy in its own way. It'll be probably 100 episodes in total, so not exactly a small endeavor, but well worth the effort. And I still need to collect more of the manga, but they're a bit pricier than normal, but also are 2 volume omnibuses

OmniTalk lols 19mins talk 6 second Omnislash lols
Squal in FFVIII does a similar limit break too. but it is called something different.
It's on CR, which really is convenient for how FUnimation is being absorbed
And it's a good intro in a way to Dragon Quest as a series, given it's kind of a competitor with Final Fantasy in its own way. It'll be probably 100 episodes in total, so not exactly a small endeavor, but well worth the effort. And I still need to collect more of the manga, but they're a bit pricier than normal, but also are 2 volume omnibuses
It also inspired Omnistrike in the Last Remnant game
that opening is you all need to know :)
Omnislash is super powerful and strong!
I just Omnislashed that Like button.
You should watch Oda Shinamon Nobunaga on crunchyroll it's so adorable!
As much as I love the original omnislash, I also really love the version you can learn in Dissidia
Its been awhile since I played Dissidia, but I think it's omnislash ver. 5 if I'm remembering right. Just scrolling through comments before watching the video too lol
@@GzzGtu20 I know in the first Dissidia you had to master Finishing Touch, then Omnislash ver.5 could be used as a finisher with it. Not sure about the second one or in NT tho
I would have had another level 4 limit break and saved omnislash for the final confrontation for narrative purposes but just my opinion
Try an anime called Bungou Stray Dogs! 3 seasons, an OVA and a Movie! Plus the manga is still ongoing.
U forgot RECORD KEEPERS & WAR OF THE VISIONS
Am i the Only one, who equipped the Buster Sword before facing Sephiroth? :D
omnislash ver 5 from dissdia opera omnia got featured
bless
Never clicked on a video so fast in my life!
Cloud also tried to performe ominislash in the edge of creation.
What about Squall's Lionheart?! Direct carbon copy of OmniSlash
It's referenced in the video footage 17:30
Still got Remakes take on Omnislash to look forward to!!!
15:09 Look at that range. Cloud is so busted in NT.
Only ever played the beta for NT once or twice and really didn't like all the changes they made from the psp games. Here I though cloud in those 2 Dissidia games was overpowered, but NT Cloud takes the cake lol
UNGARMAX
